Garmin has created a golf app

Garmin unveils free Garmin Golf app for golfers and professionals. The software allows you to turn every round played on one of 40,000 courses around the world into a real tournament.

By downloading the free Garmin Golf application to a compatible device, any player can compare their results with the leaders, hold tournaments, communicate live, publish results. Program uses statistics from more than 40 000 golf courses around the world. Users can compete with friends and other golfers on the same course and view other players’ data – places, scores, handicap, and more.

App users can invite other players and organize their own tournament. During play, participants can comment or communicate with each other while on the golf course.

If the player has a compatible Garmin device, the scorecard will be downloaded when syncing via Garmin Connect or Garmin Express. If you do not have a compatible Garmin device, you will be prompted to enter scores manually.

The Garmin Golf app is downloadable to wearable multisport devices:

fēnix 3, fēnix 3 HR, fēnix Chronos, fēnix 5S/5/5X, vίvoactive, vίvoactive HR these devices sync with the Garmin Connect app . Also compatible with Approach S2, Approach S3, Approach S4, Approach S5, Approach S6, Approach S20, Approach X40, and Approach S60 golf wearable gadgets these devices synchronize with Garmin Express . Garmin Golf also works with Approach G6, Approach G7, Approach G8, Approach G10, Approach G30 portable golf devices. Owners of the new Approach S60 golf watch will be able to calculate scores in real time.

Garmin Golf application is already available for downloading in App Store and Google Play.
