Gaggenau introduces 400 series ovens. Sculptural design and professional technology

Munich, March 2015.High functionality and the classic design of the 400 series ovens. The sculptural shape of the stainless steel appliances form a homogeneous whole in a kitchen and offer plenty of combination possibilities. A 47 mm overhang at the front – such a mounting option emphasizes the technique, while the door-open sensor makes the appliances ideal for installation in front of a handle-less front. The fronts of the appliances are made of stainless steel under glass, and since April 2015, the 400 series range is complemented by appliances in the color “Gaggenau Anthracite”.

Gaggenau 400 series ovens

The 400 series ovens are designed to fulfill even the most daring culinary fantasies in the home kitchen. The range includes ovens, combi steamers, combined microwave ovens, fully automatic coffee machines and warming drawers. Only the highest quality materials are used to create Gaggenau appliances. The fronts are 76 or 60 cm wide, made of stainless steel under glass and the doors open 180 degrees. All models of this range can be perfectly combined with each other and fit in seamlessly with other Gaggenau appliances. The combination can be made both horizontally and vertically and the top and bottom positioned models give extra freedom for combination.

Versatile comfort

All models in the new range share the same operating philosophy and have a color touchscreen display. Two rotary knobs select the main functions that are shown on the display additional functions are controlled via the touch panel.

Gaggenau has fully thought-out functions: The core probe cooks fish and meat, even baked meat, to perfection. The skewers turn out crispy browned food, such as poultry, roast knuckle or leg of lamb. With the baking stone as an optional accessory, pizzas, bread and tarts turn out just like in a real brick oven. The automatic pyrolytic cleaning function removes even the toughest of dirt and grime from your cooking experiments, especially when cooking meat.

With the Combi-steam oven, the unique combination of steam and hot air not only makes steaming possible, but also baking, stewing, toasting, regenerating and even fermenting, such as with home-made yoghurt.

The 76 cm wide ovens with a net volume of 110 liters offer 17 types of heating, including a baking on a stone. The appliances come complete with accessories such as a core probe and rotisserie. The ovens are equipped with electronic temperature control ranging from 30°C to 300°C and pyrolytic self-cleaning. Energy class B.

BO 470 BO 471 ovens.

The 60 cm wide ovens with a net volume of 76 liters offer 17 types of oven heating, including a baking mode on a baking stone. Accessories such as core probe, rotisserie and spit are included. The ovens are equipped with electronic temperature control ranging from 30°C to 300°C and pyrolytic self-cleaning. Energy Label A. Available in stainless steel and Gaggenau anthracite.

BO 450 BO 451 oven.

The 60 cm wide ovens with a net volume of 76 liters offer 13 types of heating, including a baking mode on a stone, as well as accessories such as a core probe and spit. The appliances are equipped with electronic temperature regulation from 30°C to 300°C and pyrolytic self-cleaning. Energy Class A.

BS 484 BS 485 combination steam ovens.

76 cm wide combination steam ovens use a combination of hot air and steam. Adjustable hot air temperature from 30°C to 230°C combined with humidity settings from 0%, to 100%. Stainless steel cooking space with a capacity of 44 liters. The appliances are equipped with a core probe and grill and are permanently connected to water. Energy Class A.

BS 470/471 and BS 474/475 combination steam ovens.

60 cm wide combination ovens utilize a combination of hot air and steam. Temperature of hot air is adjustable from 30° C to 230° C in combination with a humidity setting of 0-100%. Stainless steel chamber has a capacity of 44 liters. The appliances are equipped with a temperature probe as well as a grill and are permanently connected to water. Energy class A. Available in stainless steel and Gaggenau anthracite.

BS 450/451 and BS 454/455 combination ovens.

The 60 cm wide combi steamers use a combination of hot air and steam. Temperature of the hot air can be regulated between 30°C and 230°C in combination with a humidity setting of 0-100% . Stainless steel chamber has a net volume of 43 liters. The appliances are equipped with a temperature probe and a water tank with a capacity of 1.3 liters. Energy class A.

BM 450/451 and BM 454/455 combination microwave ovens.

The microwave combination oven is a unique appliance that combines microwave, grill and oven modes. Modes can be used alone or in combination with each other. In addition, 50 individual recipes can be programmed for you. The 45 cm high appliances have electronic temperature control. The capacity of the cavity is 36 liters. Available in stainless steel and Gaggenau anthracite.

Fully automatic coffee machine CM 450.

The fully automatic Gaggenau appliances are equipped with brewing technology for maximum flavor extraction as well as an automatic self-cleaning function after each brew. You brew the desired speciality coffee at the touch of a button. Personalization function allows up to eight drinks to be stored individually under a name of your choice. It has a flow-through heater for an almost instant drink preparation and a constant brewing temperature. Available in stainless steel or Gaggenau anthracite.

Warming drawer WS 482.

The 76 cm wide warming drawer can also be used for defrosting and stewing at low temperatures from 40°C to 80°C. At 21 cm high, it holds 10 dinner plates and soup bowls. Shock absorbers ensure soft closing. The interior is made of stainless steel and glass and is brightly lit when opened.

WS 461 warming drawer.

The 60 cm wide warming drawer can also be used for defrosting and stewing at low temperatures from 40°C to 80°C. Measuring only 14 cm high, it holds six dinner plates and soup cups. Shock absorbers provide soft closing. Stainless steel and glass interiors with a brightly lit interior. Available in stainless steel and Gaggenau anthracite.

WS 462 warming drawer.

The 60 cm wide warming drawer can also be used for defrosting and stewing at low temperatures ranging from 40°C to 80°C. At 29 cm tall, it holds 12 dinner plates and soup cups. Shock absorbers ensure soft closing. The interior is made of stainless steel and glass and is brightly lit when opened. Available in stainless steel and Gaggenau anthracite.
