In 1986, the original EB 374

That was its name back then

was a revelation in Europe. This mysterious, shiny and spacious oven was the personal project of Georg von Blanke, owner of Gaggenau and a passionate private chef. It took inspiration from the massive American ovens. The oven width was increased to 90 cm, and it changed the way kitchens look, almost overnight becoming a cult favorite among private chefs. It was such an avant-garde design that it remained almost unchanged for the next three decades.

The EB 333 was recently reworked and renamed to celebrate its 333rd anniversary, but it still retains its traditional avant-garde design and unrivalled performance.

  • The door front is made of a single 3 mm thick sheet of stainless steel. The door opens and closes smoothly and easily in spite of the weight of 20 kg.

In 2018 a new range of cooling systems was introduced – the Vario 400.

Vario 400 is a range of fully integrated, build-in modular refrigerators, freezers, fridge-freezer combinations and wine cabinets with climate control. More than 1,000 possible combinations.

The interior is made of stainless steel of professional quality with anthracite anodized aluminum elements and transparent glass shelves. Minimalist interior aesthetics highlighted by warm white glare-free LEDs that discreetly and gently illuminate all corners.

Two new opening assistance options allow even the largest doors to be opened effortlessly either by pulling or lightly pressing.

The entire induction hob of the Gaggenau Vario 400 is a heating zone. You can use any shape of cookware. Put it anywhere on the panel and that’s where it heats up.

A combination to suit your taste: Vario 200 hobs

Modular hobs Vario 200 and single hobs 200 series in widths from 28 to 90 cm.

Induction and gas ranges as well as two specialized appliances: An electric grill and a Teppan-Yaki stainless steel hob.

Vario 200

The black anodized aluminum control panel provides a contrasting surface for the orange glow control, and complements the designs of the 200 Series ovens and steamer ovens.
