Fujifilm is proud to announce an update to the X-Mount range of interchangeable lenses for X-Series digital cameras, which combine high image quality with Fujifilmās unique color reproduction technology. With the release of this press release, two lenses were added to the plan: an ultra wide-angle zoom lens and a telephoto fix lens.
1. Ultra-wide-angle zoom lens XF 8-16mm F2.8 R LM WR
XF 8-16mm F2.8 R LM WR is an ultra-wide angle zoom lens with a focal length equivalent to 12-24mm 35mm Eq. and a maximum aperture of F2.8. A lens most suitable for capturing dynamic landscapes, nighttime scenes and architecture. Together with XF16-55mmF2.8 R LM WR and XF50-140mmF2.8 R LM OIS WR FUJIFILM XF lenses with an aperture of F2.8 will cover the entire range of common shooting distances Wide Standard Telephoto.
2. XF 200mm F2 R LM OIS WR telephoto lens
XF 200mm F2 R LM OIS WR is a telephoto zoom lens with a focal length equivalent to 305mm 35mm equivalent . and maximum aperture of F2. This is the lens most suitable for shooting sports, nature or wild birds. Both existing teleconverters, the XF1.4X TC WR and XF2.0X TC WR compatible, so it can be used as an ultra-telephoto lens.
Fujifilm will continue to expand its lineup of lenses from ultra-wide to telephoto to support a wide range of photographic capabilities and requirements. The release date for MK series lenses for the X Mount has been moved to 2018, not 2017 as previously reported.
