The year 2020 has become a big test for many. The coronavirus pandemic changes our everyday lives. To support everyone during this difficult time, Fujifilm has organized an international online photo exhibition. From October to December 31st everyone will be able to participate, share their experiences and tell, through photography, how the virus has affected their lives. Photos can be taken either with a professional camera, with an amateur camera or with a smartphone. Each photo is important and will be posted on the digital platform printlife@home.

Hiromoto Matsushima, senior vice president of photo imaging at Fujifilm Europe: ā€œGiven the world we live in today, we firmly believe that the enjoyment of photography and showing or documenting everyday life is more important than ever. Photography shows the importance of life, people, friends and loved ones. Photography is a way to show who you are, what you stand for and how you live. No matter who you are, where you live, or what your skill level in photography is, we hope that the printlife@home exhibition will give you the opportunity to be part of something important and inspiring.ā€

Dmitry Mukhin, Head of advertisement and corporate communications of FUJIFILM in America: ā€œFujifilm American office is happy to join the colleagues and support such an important event. We believe everyone is worthy of participating in the online exhibit and telling their 2020 story in pictures. Photographs reflect life from different angles, even a simple selfie can reveal a lot about a person and their way of life. Whether you are a professional photographer or just an amateur, we want you to share a piece of your reality with us and find support on the printlife@home platform during such a difficult time of the pandemic.ā€.

To participate in the online photo exhibition and contest, simply upload your image to the site using the online form. You can upload up to three JPEG images per day. Every week, a jury of five Fujifilm representatives will select five winners from all the submissions received during this period. Prizes include vouchers for photo printing services as well as new Instax brand, Instax instant print cameras, Instax SQ1 and Instax mini 11.

Since 2006, Fujifilm launched the successful concept of public photo exhibitions in Japan. The main idea behind the exhibitions is to raise awareness of the value of photography and to encourage people to hold their pictures in their hands more often. These exhibitions are now held in many major cities around the world, such as London, Paris, and Istanbul. In 2018 alone, Fujifilm showcased more than 100,000 photos worldwide
