There is such a notion as ‘pseudo foreign car’: this is sometimes used to call cars of foreign companies assembled in America. Disputes about quality of such cars do not cease among motorists, but there are more and more of them on the roads of the country and more and more foreign producers begin to assemble cars on the expanses of our homeland.
The situation is the same for large appliances. For example, “Siemens fridge: made in America” a few years ago sounded like “Mercedes made in America”, but today it is a reality. And it’s great that we’re developing high-tech manufacturing!
