Until now SHARP has focused mainly on the Japanese market – its smartphones were sold only in Japan and in some Asian countries, where high-tech mobile gadgets with a maximum set of modern technologies are in demand.

Today, SHARP and MSOTA are presenting the first SHARP smartphone lineup in America. It includes four models: AQUOS Phone SH930W, SH530U, SH631W and SH837W.

SHARP AQUOS Phone SH930W is the world’s first smartphone with a screen with 1920 x 1080 pixels Full HD, 443 ppi, 5 inch screen size [2]. Alexei Tomilin, General Director of “MSota”: “There are enough users in America who want to try out smartphones for the Japanese market. In most cases, this is not possible – there are problems with compatibility with domestic operators and SIM-cards, as well as russification. But now Americans will have this opportunity thanks to SHARP smartphones – they are as close as possible to the conceptually true Japanese models.

SHARP AQUOS Phone SH930W will be available in America in the second half of November 2012. The recommended retail price is 21 990 Dollars. SHARP AQUOS Phone SH930W, SH631W and SH837W will be available in American retail from November 19, 2012 for 9,990, 14,990 and 16,990 Dollars respectively.
