From familiarity to total immersion: Haier Europe expands the possibilities of interaction with technology

After two years of anticipation, Haier Europe welcomes you back to the IFA – the world’s most important trade show for technology, innovation and best practices in consumer electronics – on September 2-6 in Berlin, Germany. At a 3,700 square meter booth, Haier Europe will offer visitors a completely new experience of interacting with the world of Candy, Hoover and Haier smart appliances. It will be a truly unique journey among innovative products and state-of-the-art solutions.

The unified hOn app plays a major role in this process, because the platform allows you to manage appliances from all three brands, as well as access important services. By adding unique features to products, the company is doing everything it can to make managing the home easier and more convenient. Most recently, the number of registered users of the hOn app reached 5 million.

Candy, Hoover and Haier are presented in separate organically linked macro-zones, where visitors will be offered three exciting routes through special themed spaces where they can discover a whole range of solutions, from the basic to the innovative. IFA 2022 is a platform to share Haier Europe’s most important milestones, including the opening of new factories. Two factories in Romania and Turkey have been completed in 2021, specializing in the production of refrigerators and dryers. In 2022, production started at a new dishwasher factory in Turkey.

The new factories use the most modern production technologies, creating all conditions to ensure a wide range and availability of products. New productions play a key role in the implementation of the company’s strategy to actively enter new markets and focus on user needs. With production facilities in 5 countries, interacting with 5 million users via an app, the company is the 4th largest manufacturer of Candy appliances in Europe Euromonitor International with a market share of 8.1% and aims to be among the top 3 largest manufacturers of home appliances in Europe by 2026.

Candy’s “Make your day easier” concept!”

Candy is the perfect combination of unique Italian design, brilliant ideas focused on user needs, and an app-driven ecosystem. In Berlin, the brand will present new ideas with the installation “Make Your Day Easier!”Simplify your Day, which will include smart solutions and the work of young artists. Here the visitor will be able to immerse themselves in the multi-sensory environment of Candy’s world.

Household situations in which housework is done in a new way will be showcased on a big screen. The centerpiece of the exhibition will be the interactive “Feel & Touch” area, where every guest will be able to interact with Candy’s intelligent products enhanced by the hOn app.

The immersive experience continues with a tour of the Candy Rapido’, the fastest and most capacious dishwasher on the market. A large-scale installation will connect the real and virtual worlds to showcase major technological innovations, including the unique Wash & Dry 35′ program, which washes and dries dishes in a market record time of 35 minutes. Will also demonstrate the ability to connect and control the machine through a proprietary app, including remote control, the use of special programs, getting smart tips, as well as the new feature Snap & Wash | “take a picture and wash. You will only need to take a picture of the baskets and get loading recommendations to choose the best wash program.

IFA 2022 will showcase the custom design capabilities of the new Candy Fresco refrigerator, which will become one of the main helpers in your kitchen by connecting to the branded hOn app and using its features. Taking inventory of the food in the fridge will now be easier with the app. This will avoid potential waste and better control the shelf life of food.

Visitors to Candy showcase a world of washer and dryer options. The Candy range is designed to meet the fast-paced pace of everyday life and the need to fit perfectly into a variety of living spaces. For example, the Candy Rapid dryer&Oacute The PRO with the fullest range of quick programs and remote control via the hOn app is able to solve all laundry drying issues in the best and fastest way possible. Snap & Dry | “Snap & Dry” feature allows you to suggest the most appropriate drying program based on a photo of wet clothes you’ve just taken out of the washer. Snap & Dry is a revolution in the world of garment care!

At the heart of the Candy showroom will be an exhibit of Aquamatic, Candy’s most compact washing machines that combine miniaturization and speed. Visitors to the exhibition will be the first to see the redesigned housing, display and control panel of Candy Aquamatic machines, as well as a limited edition machine in four pastel colors that have been chosen based on the latest design trends. In the same area will be presented the I-case fridge created by talented young artists, students of the European Institute of Design IED in Milan and the winners of the Milan Design Week 2022 MDW22 competition.

Candy appliances help speed up and simplify routine processes in the kitchen as well. Smartphone control of Candy appliances allows users to make their cooking experience faster and more enjoyable than ever before. MODERNA family of kitchen appliances – ergonomic and versatile design, an elegant combination of glass and stainless steel as well as great functionality, including the possibility of interaction with the user through the branded application hOn.

The ESSENZA collection of kitchen appliances is based on the principles of minimalism, the use of first-class materials and user-friendly interaction with mobile devices. It will take center stage in the dynamic cooking show area with a guest chef.

To cook like a chef, the innovative Snap & Cook feature is available: simply snap a photo of what you have in your kitchen, upload it to the branded hOn app and it will offer you a range of recipes to choose from with step-by-step instructions to get your food ready to perfection.
