Foxconn, the world’s leading maker of electronic components, introduces the new NanoPC nT-iBT nettop series with a sleek design and rich feature set. Three models are included: nT-iBT18, nT-iBT19 and nT-iBT29. Netbooks in this series use the latest Intel Bay Trail-D processors, unified design and a unified set of interfaces. The nT-iBT18 has a dual-core Intel Celeron J1800 processor, the nT-iBT19 has an Intel Celeron J1900 with four processing cores, and the nT-iBT29 has a powerful quad-core Intel Pentium J2900.
Dual-core Intel Celeron J1800 and quad-core Intel Celeron J1900 and Intel Pentium J2900 processors are designed specifically for energy-efficient desktops and nettops. With very low TDP 10W only they get higher performance compared to previous generation peers as well as Intel HD Graphics integrated graphics core, which significantly speeds up video streaming. So you can use these new nettops to play high quality movies, download resource conservative games or just enjoy your photo library.
The design of series is simple and concise. Black glossy chassis fits in any workspace. On the long sides of the case are connectors for CDs, audio and USB devices, communications, power, and other computer components, as well as a power button. Design Feature – VESA mount compatibility. You can secure the nettop to the back of most modern monitors, turning it into a convenient monoblock.
New products come without RAM and storage. According to user needs, user can choose HDD or SSD in 2.5-inch form factor. SO-DIMM DDR3L modules up to 8GB can be used as RAM.
Four USB 2 slots are available for peripheral connections.0 and two USB 3.0, microphone jack, 3.5mm jack audio jack as well as COM port and 6-in-1 card reader. The connection to the network is possible both via Wi-Fi channel 802.11 b/g/n, and over LAN with support for speeds up to 1000 Mbps.
VGA and HDMI ports that support 1920×1080 resolution are provided for monitor connection. The nettop lets you work with two screens at the same time.
The new Foxconn nettops will go on sale at the end of May 2014. The nT-iBT18 will be priced at $180, the nT-iBT19 at $200, and the nT-iBT29 at $250.
