Change to grill mode for fish on a skewer
You will need 4 servings:
– About 600g of cod or perch fillets,
– 2 tablespoons lemon juice,
– 1-2 scallions,
– 2 tablespoons vegetable oil,
– 12 Cocktail Tomatoes,
– 1 lemon,
– salt,
– Paprika,
– garlic powder
- Wash the fish fillet under cold water and pat it dry with a paper towel. Cut into cubes about 3 cm thick.
- Peel the onion and chop it very finely. Place in a bowl, add lemon juice, salt and olive oil and mix well. Roll cubes of fish in the mixture and leave in marinade for about 1 hour in a cool place. Cut lemons into eight pieces. Arrange the fish, cocktail tomatoes and lemon slices alternately on the wooden skewers and place them on the grill. Put the tray in the oven on the 4th shelf, counting from the bottom. Use grill mode, heat up to degree 3. Time of grilling – 18 minutes.
- Turn skewers just before they are done, about 12 minutes from the start of cooking.
- Season fish with salt, paprika and garlic powder before serving.
Notes
Soak the wooden skewers in water for about an hour before putting the fish on. Fill a large bowl with water and put the skewers in it. Press them down with a heavy object, such as a bowl, so that the wooden skewers do not float.
If you do not have time to soak the skewers, and you are afraid that the wood may char, use metal skewers.
