Both action cameras weigh less than 100 grams and come in a rugged miniature case measuring 45 x 58 mm – smaller than a regular credit card. At the same time, unlike many manufacturers’ cameras, these models are equipped with handy touch screen with 320 x 240 resolution 480 x 320 in the S5 plus model for navigation and viewing footage.
Built-in G-sensor and gyroscope allow you to automatically start recording after motion and pause at a standstill, optical stabilization system reduces image shake in motion, and two microphones record audio, cutting off all unnecessary external noise. In addition, the cameras support Bluetooth 4.0 and USB 3.0 for data transfer, and the Ezviz S5 plus model is additionally equipped with Wi-Fi with support for 2.4 and 5 GHz networks.
The Ezviz S5 uses a 16MP camera that records video up to 4K resolution at 15fps or 720p at up to 120fps. Ezviz S5 comes with a 1160 mAh battery with up to 2 hours of run time in case your walk or ride is long.
Ezviz S5 plus features a 12MP camera with a Sony IMX 377 sensor. The device can record video at up to 4K resolution at 30 frames per second or at 1080p at up to 120 frames per second and operates for up to an hour and a half in continuous 4K video recording mode.
