Epson WorkForce Pro WF-6000/6500 support NFC connectivity

Epson Company expands its lineup of 4-color A4 printing devices: Epson WorkForce Pro WF-6090DW printer and Epson WorkForce Pro WF-6590DWF MFP. In addition to the low cost of printing, NFC support and the confidential printing function are the distinguishing features of the devices.

Economical

The Epson WorkForce Pro line is inkjet printers and MFPs, so their only consumables are cartridges and a waste ink tank. Cartridges are separate, high-capacity, with up to 10,000 b/w pages and up to 7,000 color prints. Cost per print is lower than on similar color laser machines. Results in significant savings for high print volumes. The absence of heating elements in the printer design reduces power consumption by 82% compared to laser printers . Total cost of ownership per year of operation is lower than most color laser printers and MFPs in a similar segment.

Reliability and quality

The Epson WorkForce Pro line of devices features high reliability thanks to the latest print head – Epson PrecisionCore. Designed for high volume print jobs of up to 65,000 pages per month, they are not much less than comparable laser printers and MFPs.

Epson DURABrite Ultra pigmented inks are specially formulated for printing on standard office paper – providing crisp text and vivid, rich graphics. Prints dry instantly, do not smudge on highlighting with markers or water, do not fade or crumble.

Wide functionality

All Epson WorkForce Pro WF-6000/6500 series machines are equipped with automatic two-sided printing. You can connect both via USB and network. The devices have a built-in Wi-Fi module with Wi-Fi Direct support for direct printing from mobile devices, laptops. In addition, the devices support Near Field Communication NFC radio technology for automatic connection of mobile devices: simply touch the printer with a tablet or smartphone equipped with an NFC module to connect the devices and then work together.

To avoid the risk of confidential documents falling into the wrong hands, simply use the “print by password” “confidential printing” function: the job will not be printed until the user enters a special 4-digit code on the device control panel.
