X-Balance driver
The newly developed Sony X-Balanced speaker delivers high sound quality and powerful sound pressure for a richer, deeper, and more enjoyable sound. The non-circular shape of the unit increases the diaphragm area, which increases sound pressure to create richer bass. It also contributes to reduced cone excursion while maintaining the same sound pressure, which helps reduce distortion. In particular, the sound pressure level on the SRS-XB33 has been increased by about 30%, while the distortion level has been reduced by about 25% compared to its predecessor SRS-XB32 .
Unlike the circular diaphragm of conventional designs, the X-Balanced driver in the XB43 uses an almost rectangular diaphragm. Bi-woofer combines a large woofer for the bass and midrange with a dedicated tweeter for the treble. All of which leads to a powerful sound, with clear and deep bass and exceptional clarity and intelligibility of vocals.
X-Balanced speakers in the XB33 and XB23 feature non-circular cones with an offset, asymmetrical design. Enlarging your diaphragm to create more sound pressure without sacrificing driver size.

Mica Reinforced cellular cone MRC with dust cap help to improve the sound quality. All three models also have an optimized layout of the side passive drivers for better bass clarity. LIVE SOUND Surround Sound makes your party sound almost as good as if it were happening in a live concert.
