CONNECTION

The instruction manual is detailed, no problems encountered. The only surprise for me was the fact that the panel should not be plugged into a socket, but through the power input. I never really thought about the fact that the stove hobs are more powerful than the ovens. So I recommend that you keep this feature in mind when planning your installation.

CONTROL

The panel is equipped with a touch control system. In the center there are power buttons, timer display, and on the sides – individual “windows” for each burner with the selected power and indication of residual heat.

To turn the hob on, first press the lock button right , after a second the light indication goes out, press the power button left , the buzzer sounds, and the burner controls are activated, the desired power is selected, the process went..

One touch of a burner with variable radius is all it takes to switch the heating circuits, which is very convenient. The hob shuts off automatically if no burner is selected within 10 seconds. When you finish cooking, the lock also turns on automatically.

FUNCTIONAL

Four burners are enough for daily cooking. Burner sizes are universal: the medium is suitable for most pans, the burner with extension allows the use of wide pans.

But there are some limitations: the strongest and widest burner is on the far side. So when you’re frying something, it’s hard to use the front burner.

It’s ideal to place the two burners on a diagonal line: if you have to use the adjacent burners, the cookware will be too cramped and two large pans may not fit side by side. But situations when you have to use all the burners, still rare.

If you work long hours on the front burners at maximum power, the control panel heats up, but this is a common problem with all hobs.

CHECKING THE EXTRAS

This hob has extra features that are usually found on more expensive models, they make cooking much easier.

Timer can be used for any burner, but only one. Switching on is quite simple, you can do it with the manual in your hand once and then do it yourself. You activate the timer by pressing the “+” or “-” button, then you set the desired power on the selected burner, then the timer time – and that’s it. The central display shows a countdown in minutes and the power knob of the chosen cooking zone flashes as a timer indicator. At the end of time burner turns off automatically and a buzzer goes off several times.

Heating – a more rare option, but very useful if you’re busy and need to cook. The point is that at a certain moment the panel itself changes the burner heating power, with the maximum power to the chosen burner. To do this, you set the maximum power on the burner, press the “+” button again and a dot will appear next to the number, now specify the desired power using the “-” button. A beep warns you if the process is successful. That’s all, after a while the heating power will change automatically. The time depends on the power selected and varies from 1 min. 12 seconds to 2 minutes. 44 seconds.

SAFETY

In this panel, it has been thought out in detail. That includes an interlock control, which turns on automatically when you stop the oven, and overheat protection, which triggers when the ambient temperature rises dangerously, and an automatic shutdown when the burner is running at one power for too long. And yet the panel expresses dissatisfaction beeping and turns off if you put something on the display or power buttons. In general, the safety is excellent. Even if you leave the pan on the stove and leave it there is 99,99% chance that nothing bad will happen.
