Comprehensive Noise Reduction System
Air Multiplier™ technology creates powerful airflow by multiplying the surrounding air masses. High air speeds cause characteristic noise, which can be uncomfortable, particularly when you’re sleeping. Tests carried out in an acoustic anechoic chamber at Dyson headquarters in Mailsbury in the UK resulted in a redesign to reduce noise levels in the Dyson Cool™ fans. Built-in Helmholtz resonator, which is also used in professional acoustic devices and car exhaust systems, captures and dissipates sound from the motor. What’s more, the ingeniously shaped fan ring and aerodynamically shaped air channels help the airflow follow an optimal path, with less resistance and lower noise.
How the Air Multiplier™ technology works?
High-speed brushless motor draws air into the base of the device. As it moves through the air duct along the contour of the fan ring, the flow velocity increases, and at the outlet of the slotted opening, the jet entraps the surrounding masses. This greatly enhances the power of the flow and ensures its smooth and homogeneous motion.

Users can select from ten airflow modes and adjust the direction of the airflow with a single touch. The sleep timer allows you to set the time between 15 minutes and 9 hours before the automatic shutdown. The remote control makes it easy to control all the functions of the device from a distance.
