Leading manufacturer of coolers and cooling systems Deepcool unveils M5 stand for notebooks up to 17″ with built-in audio. The speakers and fan are able to draw power via a USB or Micro USB cable connected to the laptop or external power supply, and sound is delivered via a standard 3.5″ jack.
The Deepcool M5 audio system provides much better sound than the built-in speakers in notebooks, it doesn’t take up extra space, and if you move your notebook with the cradle, it won’t need to be reconnected.
Deepcool M5 is responsible for the cooling capabilities of a 180mm blue-lit fan that runs at speeds ranging from 600 to 1000 rpm – it’s housed under a metal mesh panel with lots of holes to keep your entire notebook cool. A fan speed control is located on the back of the M5 and includes power and audio jacks as well as an additional USB 2 port.0.
In most cases, keeping the fan on is only required for gaming as it lowers the temperature of the video chip and CPU, and reduces the load on the notebook cooling system itself. The fan can be turned off when surfing the web or using office applications.
Deepcool M5 will be available in December with a recommended retail price of 900 Dollars.
