Daewoo Electronics DSB-F079LH split-system review

DSB-F079LH split-system was released by Daewoo Electronics in 2012. It belongs to the non-inverter models, which run at constant speed. The air conditioner operates on the principle of on off – it turns on and off at intervals to maintain the temperature at a predetermined level. As the majority of modern split-systems available at the market, DSB-F079LH operates on the ozone-safe freon – in this case the most widespread ecological refrigerant R410A is used.

Conditioners

The wall type indoor unit is made in the classic style and painted in neutral white. Its front panel is equipped with a display that shows the temperature and operating mode.

Daewoo Electronics DSB-F079LH can operate not only for cooling the conditioner also supports the “heat pump” mode. In this case the unit “swaps” the functions of heat exchangers, as a result the indoor unit starts not cooling but heating the air, taking the heat from the street.

This mode is particularly desirable in the off-season when the heating season has not yet started or has already finished but the climate is rather cold. Though, the conditioner will be useful even in winter, as additional source of heat.

The model allows warming the air even at severe frosts – up to -24 degrees Celsius on the street. But if necessary, it can reduce the humidity level by dehumidifying up to 0,8 l of moisture per hour.

The indoor unit is equipped with antibacterial filter Nano Silver on the basis of silver, which disinfects the air passing through it.

Besides, the model is equipped with filters for cleaning the air from dust. It has the self-cleaning functions, as well as self-diagnosis, which make maintenance of the device easier. The DSB-F079LH is designed to operate in a room of up to 25 m2. In the series, there are also higher capacity models for larger rooms.

Price: 12 490 Dollars.
