Cranberry-apple jam with walnuts

We will need:

Small appliances for the kitchen

1 kg cranberries,

1 kg apples,

1 cup peeled walnuts,

3 kg honey or 2,5 kg sugar,

1,5 cup water.

Method of preparation:

Put washed cranberries into a saucepan, add half a glass of water and boil until cranberries soften. Crush the cranberries and strain through a sieve. Boil honey and add cranberries separately. Peel and core the apples, cut them into wedges, add them to the cranberry-honey mixture, add the walnuts and simmer for 1 hour.

The Secret

. If you use sugar instead of honey, make a syrup and simmer for one hour beforehand.
