Correct placement of dishes in the dishwasher

Dishwasher dishes aren’t clean enough after washing them? Don’t be disappointed. Our tips will help you get the results you want and prolong the life of your appliance.

After buying a dishwasher, a customer quite reasonably thinks that all dishwashing problems are solved. And the greater is the disappointment of some consumers, who find the leftovers on their plates and pots at the end of the wash cycle.

If such a thing happened to you, do not hurry to blame the dishwasher and the store where you bought it. Even the most advanced appliance won’t keep dishes clean if it isn’t installed correctly to begin with.

There are a few simple rules for loading your dishwasher that will not only keep your kitchen utensils perfectly clean, but will also extend the life of your appliance:

• Before you load it, make sure you remove all food leftovers from the dishes, otherwise they could clog the filters.
• The dishwasher should never be overloaded. The manual tells you how many sets of dishes this model can handle. One set consists of three plates, a glass, a cup and saucer, three spoons, a fork and a knife.
• Dishes need to be placed so that they are completely inside and outside washed with water. The highest items dishes, lids were placed near the walls, the smaller ones closer to the center… All containers pots, bowls, bowls, salad bowls, cups, glasses, glasses should be inverted so that water does not accumulate inside them.
• When loading, all items, especially breakable ones, should be properly secured.

Sharp kitchen knives should be placed with the handles upwards. Long knives, skewers, ladles should be placed horizontally in the basket. The convex part of the ladle must point upwards.
