Premium MasterWatt Maker power supplies with Cooler Master Connect v2.0, 80 Plus Titanium certification efficiency up to 94% and aluminum housing will be available in 1200W and 1500W versions. A redesigned three-dimensional PSU circuitry has allowed developers to reduce the number of components in the PSU case, improving its cooling and air circulation.
The original MasterWatt Maker supported operation with a handy application that allowed you to monitor and control the temperature of the PSU. For the new version, Cooler Master has updated the software platform to give users even more useful information and control over PSU performance.
One of the most important improvements is the Overlay support.live. Overlay.live is a new app designed by Cooler Master together with independent developers and world famous overclockers including Wizerty from France. This app allows you to monitor the status of your power supply in real time and store power supply performance data in the cloud. Also, this data can be displayed on top of the image during online broadcasts. Overlay.Live consumes few system resources and does not affect the PC performance. As part of the new project, Wizerty will showcase the new product at various events scheduled around the world in 2018.
At the same time Cooler Master’s own solution, MasterPlus+, allows you to monitor multiple MasterWatt Maker PSUs with Cooler Master Connect v2 support.0 at the same time. Also the new software can give status of all other Cooler Master products connected to the system and does not require any additional hardware for operation. All data is stored in the cloud, so users can retrieve the information they need at any time. MasterPlus+ is now available for download.
Cooler Master introduces RGB backlight with customizable colors and temperature sensing designed for new water and air cooling systems. MasterLiquid ML240 SMART and MasterAir MA410M are equipped with a special customizable RGB backlight. Both are certified by ASUS, Gigabyte, MSI and ASRock and work with their backlight control systems.
MasterLiquid ML240 SMART and MasterAir MA410M boast not only RGB backlight with 16,7 million colors and tones, but also the new SMART function, which detects CPU temperature and can change color of backlight depending on its value. Also with customizable RGB backlight but without temperature detection available in models MasterLiquid ML240R, MasterLiquid ML120R, MasterFan MF120M and MasterFan MF122R.
Collaboration with partners
Cooler Master continues to create innovative products in collaboration with OEM partners. Especially for the release of Ryzen processors and the new Radeon™ Vega graphics cards, Cooler Master has developed low profile A51 fans with RGB illumination for these new products.
In addition, the company has joined forces with ASUS to create dual tower cooling systems in the style of the ASUS TUF Gaming, MasterAir MA620 and MA410M motherboards. They were first shown at the ASUS and Cooler Master booths at CES 2018.
