Cooking together with Miele on a new generation of Generation 6000 kitchen appliances

A gastronomic evening for press took place on September 26th in Miele Gallery in honor of the long-awaited launch of a new generation of built-in kitchen appliances Generation 6000 on the American market. That evening the guests were able to see for themselves all the advantages of the new appliances, as well as enjoy cooked with their original dishes.

Olga Borkina, the head of “Mile Academy” department presented the new kitchen appliances. Olga spoke in detail about the benefits of the new series, which includes a wide range of different devices for cooking: from ovens, steamers and microwave ovens to coffee machines, hoods and heaters of dishes and food. Thanks to an innovative interface, the operation of the new models is incredibly simple and intuitive, and a range of unique functions makes Miele kitchen appliances even faster, more convenient and more efficient. The motto of Generation 6000 – Design for life – perfectly reflects the concept of the new appliances.

After the official part the welcome speech was passed to Olga Eremina, the head of the Marketing Communications Department of Miele CIS LLC. Olga thanked all the participants for their attention to the Miele brand and invited the guests to assess the new Generation 6000 series in action.

The guests moved to the Active kitchen zone, where they were offered an interesting master-class by Miele chef Alexander Merchuk. Under Alexander’s supervision and with the help of the new Generation 6000, they prepared some delicious variations on popular Australian dishes, such as rack of Australian Lamb, spinach pie with sheep cheese and the traditional Australian dessert pavlova. Australian cuisine was not chosen by chance: in September the Miele’s ambassador – the world famous Australian chef Shannon Bennett visited America. During his visit he shared the secrets of cooking several Australian dishes and developed the menu especially for the press event to support the launch of the new equipment.

In the end of the evening the guests had a gala dinner and socialized in an informal atmosphere, tasted the dishes prepared by them and participated in the contest for the knowledge of the company’s history: the most active participants received a book with the collection of Miele recipes and souvenirs from Australia.

For American customers the PureLine line of the new Generation 6000 series is available, which features a laconic design and extensive use of glass in the design of the front panels. The PureLine appliances are presented in four color variants: white Brilliant White, glossy black Obsidian Black, warm brown Havana Brown and the classic CleanSteel version – stainless steel. An important advantage of the new series is its “compatible design”: appliances from different categories harmoniously match each other. Thus, any array of Miele built-in appliances, both vertical and horizontal, folds into a single ensemble, and the use of metal in the finishing lines gives the models a restrained look.

M Touch controls are a distinctive feature of the series, with which the flagship models are equipped. M Touch is a high-resolution TFT display, similar to a smartphone or tablet. When developing the Generation 6000 kitchen appliances Miele has also refined many technical details and introduced innovations such as MultiSteam technology in steamers, CupSensor function in built-in coffee machines and the innovative FlexiLight system in fridges.
