Combined work: the heating boiler and indirect water heater will reduce gas consumption

When starting to build a suburban home, owners face a number of engineering challenges. One of the most pressing – hot water and heat, because often the site is not connected to the central heating and hot water supply mains. The problem can be solved by installing a gas boiler and water heater, but many planners tend to choose the alternative – boiler and indirect water heater.

Climatic technique

Today the market offers a wide range of such solutions. In fact, indirect water heater is an insulated tank with a coil through which the coolant flows and transmits its temperature to the water in the tank. It works in conjunction with a gas boiler: water is heated in the boiler from the heating.

Ariston Thermo company offers its customers a boiler model ARI BCH with a capacity from 80 to 160 liters. The form of the spiral heat exchanger of the device allows you to heat the entire volume of the tank and protects against scaling. A magnesium anode and the PROTECH function serve the same purpose, preventing corrosion of the internal surface. The tank is easy to install even with a wall mounted boiler as the hydraulic connections are led out on the top cover.

“It is best to use BCH when the residents need a large amount of water, but at certain times, for example, in the morning and evening – says Vadim Smirnov, senior product manager of “Ariston Thermo America” Ltd. – In addition, the whole system is more economical than a separately installed gas boiler and a flow-through or electric water heater, by saving gas and electricity. True, the initial purchase and installation costs will be somewhat higher.

Other advantages of this equipment are the presence of a constant supply of water, and this, in turn, makes it possible to connect multiple water outlets. If the user is in urgent need of “warm”, the boiler turns on full power much higher than that which can provide water heater, working from the socket , which allows you to cook water faster. Another important feature of the combined system – the ease of organization of recycling DHW. It is used to ensure that the pipes between the boiler and taps constantly “ran” hot water. In this case, households do not need to wait for the cold water to pour out.
