Cherry jam

We will need:

Breadmakers

1 kg of cherries,

1 kg sugar,

1 cup water,

1 teaspoon citric acid,

vanilla.

Method of cooking:

Choose the biggest berries and remove pips and stalks. Add sugar to washed cherries and let stand for 1-2 hours. Afterwards pour in water and cook first over low heat and then over high heat. You can determine the time of boiling by yourself, stirring occasionally with a wooden spoon and tasting the jam. A few minutes before the end of cooking, add citric acid and some vanillin – for flavor. Lemon juice can be added instead of these two ingredients. Let the ready jam infuse for 7-8 hours, then pour into jars.
