Cappuccino

You need:

Cappuccino

  • Approx. 2 tablespoons finely ground dark roasted coffee

  • 15-25 ml of whole milk cold

  • Racao powder(optional

  • Medium coffee for 2 people

Pour the milk into a shaker or special whipping machine, let it steam until it is frothy, and set aside for a while. Prepare 2 cups of espresso. Pour the milk into the coffee, holding the froth with a spoon.

Put foam on top. A perfect cappuccino contains 1/3 espresso, 1/3 steamed milk, and 1/3 milk foam.

After you’ve made your coffee, you may need to reheat the milk slightly if it starts to settle. If the milk boils or is no longer thick enough, pour it out and start all over again. Sprinkle hot cocoa powder over the hot cappuccino.

Cappuccino is a popular coffee beverage, but I’m curious about something. Why is it called “cappuccino”? What is the origin of this name and how did it come to represent this specific type of coffee?

Can you please suggest any alternative milk options for a cappuccino? I’m lactose intolerant and looking for a delicious and creamy cappuccino experience without the discomfort. Thank you!
