Canon Europe, the world leader in imaging solutions, today announced the i-SENSYS LBP312x, a compact, high-performance printer for use in dynamic work environments where space is at a premium. The new device offers clear and rich printing at high speed, large paper tray capacity, support for two-sided printing and a variety of mobile connectivity options. The printer promises to be the perfect choice for intensive work in a small office.
The workhorse among office printers
The Canon LBP312x is the black and white printer for office workgroups with heavy workloads. It offers benefits such as speed, compactness, high print quality, large paper trays and low operating costs. Its high performance and compact design make it a perfect fit in any work environment where you frequently need to print on the go – from front-line customer service areas like medical offices and retail stores to fast-moving areas like logistics, finance, or legal services.
Compact design
The Canon LBP312x uses an innovative, more compact print engine and smaller toner cartridges. The small footprint allows the printer to be mounted closer to the user and provides easy access to the best quality, high speed black and white printing close to where employees work.
High throughput and rapid recovery from sleep mode
The key component of Canon LBP312x printer is the advanced compact and highly effective print engine that produces A4 and A5-size prints at 43 and 65 ppm respectively. With Quick Start or Quick Wake Enabled, the printer is ready to print within seconds of applying power or waking from sleep mode and its extended media life means you can print more before a new cartridge has to be replaced.
Multiple configuration options
The Canon LBP312x has one built-in 550-sheet paper cassette. Optionally, it can be equipped with three more standard cartridges of the same capacity. Not only does it reduce the need to load new paper, it also allows up to four different types of forms to be printed in parallel.
Mobility and easy integration with existing printers
Canon LBP312x supports a wide range of cloud and mobile technologies, including Canon PRINT Business, Apple AirPrint, Mopria and Google Cloud Print. Furthermore it is optimized for PCL and PostScript environments and compatible with Managed Care solutions including our e-Maintenance remote maintenance management system and uniFLOW document management platform.
Anil Jagpal, European Marketing Manager, Canon Europe “Canon works closely with customers in the development of its products to understand their needs. The LBP312x is designed with the needs of users who print intensively within a small workgroup or office environment in mind. Departments and companies in sectors such as logistics, legal and financial services print large volumes of critical documents in a minimal office space and I believe our device is ideal for their needs. “Mobile connectivity and network integration capabilities will allow the device to be used effectively in a flexibly organized work environment, while uniFLOW support will enable easy incorporation into existing print infrastructures.
New series launches at the end of March 2017.
