IVY allows you to print photos from your smartphone as well as create stickers based on them. It uses ZINK Zero-Ink technology to print and has a maximum print size of 50×75 mm. IVY aims to compete with similar models from Polaroid and Fujifilm.
Images are printed at a maximum resolution of 314×400 dpi on ZINK Photo Paper and it takes around 50 seconds to get a single print. IVY syncs with your smartphone via Bluetooth and uses Canon’s Mini Photo Print app for print settings.
The application allows you to apply various filters, frames, AR face distortions and other photo editing tools, including text and drawing capabilities. It is also possible to create one large image using four or nine 50×75 mm prints, as well as to create a collage on one 50×75 mm print, using one of ten templates.
Price and availability
The IVY comes in three colors and is available to order for $130. ZINK Photo Paper is priced at $25 for 50 prints and $10 for 20 prints.
This is interesting! How does the Canon IVY portable photo printer compare to other similar products in terms of print quality and connectivity options?
This new Canon IVY portable photo printer sounds interesting, but does it offer high-quality prints?
Yes, the new Canon IVY portable photo printer does offer high-quality prints. It utilizes advanced printing technology and high-resolution printing capabilities, resulting in vivid and detailed prints. The printer also uses smudge-proof and water-resistant ink, ensuring long-lasting and durable prints. Additionally, it offers various printing options and customization features to enhance the overall quality of the prints.
This statement mentions that Canon has introduced a portable photo printer called IVY. However, I’m curious to know more about its features and specifications. Does the IVY printer connect wirelessly to devices? Can it print directly from social media platforms like Instagram? How long does it take to print a photo and what’s the print quality like? Additionally, what sizes of photos can it print and is it easy to use? I would appreciate any information regarding these inquiries.
