The award is given once a year by Keypoint Intelligence, a respected independent test lab called Buyers Lab BLI . The awards are designed to highlight the best lines of office equipment from the world’s leading manufacturers.

Each year BLI recognizes leading manufacturers in a variety of categories by selecting the best products. The models submitted for the contest are undergoing comprehensive laboratory testing for two months. Top awards are given to the best of the best in this comprehensive evaluation. Winners are announced based on the decision of a jury of BLI technical experts and editors. The competition includes devices submitted to BLI Labs in the last six months by major original equipment manufacturers.
