CANDY Rapid’O washing machine: check all the features

The main expectations are to test the smart features of the CANDY Rapid’O RO441286DWMC4-07 washing machine, as before we didn’t have to take pictures of the laundry in front of the machine, scan clothes tags and create a virtual closet.

Test #1. Washing quality

First, we decided to do a test wash: we took a dirty white T-shirt of a 12 year old after his workout. We put it in the drum along with a set of bed linen: sheet, duvet cover, pillowcase.

Selected the program “Cotton: The perfect wash 59”, the screen showed the time – 59 minutes. and temperature 40 ° C.

In just one hour, the laundry is out. Checked the shirt – clean, no traces of sports victories.

Then just started washing everything in a row: laundry, clothes, towels, curtains and tulle, sports uniforms, fall jackets – the usual work for home appliances.

Two months of testing have made sure that the washing machine is good for all laundry: white, colored, sports, delicate, and wool.

If you compare the CANDY Rapid’O RO441286DWMC4-07 with my previous washing machine, the CANDY is definitely faster. In just one hour clothes of different fabrics can be washed in special programs. Washing quality remains excellent. In two months I have only used the standard program once, and that only as part of a test.

Test #2. CANDY Rapid’O remote control

The most interesting feature of this washing machine is the new branded hOn app that works with Haier and Candy appliances. With it, the washing possibilities multiply and become almost limitless. At least that is what the manufacturers promise.

At first I was surprised by the number of additional programs: there are 63!

There are special cycles:

• wetsuits,
• delicate tablecloths,
• disinfecting masks,
• men’s pants,
• new clothes,
• ski suits,
• beach suits,
• anti-mite treatment,
• blood stains,
• wine stains,
• chocolate stains,
• backpacks,
• odor elimination,
• sports shoes, etc.

The app has information on how to protect the machine from limescale, how to care for things, how to read labels, how to remove lint, how to protect colored fabrics, how to remove stains of different origin.

I haven’t seen this kind of variety anywhere else.

You can remotely start a new wash cycle, track your habits in the app, check your energy consumption, and schedule your laundry in advance for the right time.

The app will also help check the status of your washing machine, sending a notification when maintenance is needed. This will certainly extend the life of the appliance.

Those who don’t use the app will lose a lot of features and useful information.

In the basic programs and so a great choice for washing. But by browsing through over 60 cycles in the app, editing them and saving them to your favorites, you can find the perfect cycle for specific items. In order not to get lost in the large number of options, the manufacturers have come up with filtering: you select the parameters and narrow down the search area considerably.
