Candy BRAVA CDIN 1D632PB-07 built-in dishwasher: test – review

A dishwasher is freedom from domestic slavery.

But the first dishwasher I bought a couple of years ago was disappointing. I parted with it without regret and got a model of a brand that I trust.

Candy equipment has not failed me before, and I was also interested in additional features of Candy BRAVA, which I will talk about in this review – test.

I chose the Candy BRAVA CDIN 1D632PB-07 dishwasher.

• It’s full-size, so it can wash dirty pans,
• Fully built-in, “hidden” behind the front of the kitchen unit,
• Controlled by Smartphone,
• value for money.

Advantages

• 16 sets.
• Washes and dries dishes in 39 minutes.
• Smart baskets hold 201 items.

This 16 x 3 plates: soup, main course, dessert, saucer, cup, glass, spoon, fork, knife, teaspoon + 3 salad bowls, serving dish, ladle, meat fork, kitchen knife, serving spoon +16 espresso coffee pairs.

Design

Let’s look at the Candy BRAVA CDIN 1D632PB-07 dishwasher from all angles.

Baskets

The manufacturers call the baskets “smart”. Let’s take a look at why.

The Candy BRAVA CDIN 1D632PB dishwasher has three baskets. Each one has interesting “gizmos” to keep dishes of all shapes and sizes securely in place while washing and drying.

Top

4 positions for the removable trays:

1. for cups,
2. for knives and ladles,
3. for dishes,
4. for goblets.

When using the racks, the cups are placed in 2 levels.

Bottom

For washing pots, pans, soup bowls, lids, dishes and deep plates.

• Removable grid to hold dishes in different shapes.
• A stopper for safely extending the basket.

Flat

The flat basket is designed for long items or small dishes: coffee cups and saucers, small salad bowls, accessories for electrical appliances.

It’s 27 cm wide. Therefore, at the same time with the high glasses and wide plates in the upper basket, in the flat basket you can wash the coffee service.

Cutlery basket

Consists of two cells. Only one or both at once is used.

Water delivery

The Candy BRAVA CDIN 1D632PB-07 dishwasher has two beakers.

Lower one is on the bottom of the machine, the upper one is installed under the second basket and can be taken out with it.

Maintenance

Salt container is located on the bottom of the machine, closer to the door. You don’t have to climb deep into the machine to add salt.

Features

9 programs at Candy BRAVA CDIN 1D632PB-07.

• Most of the time, I would use the automatic daily wash program. It is designed for “normally” dirty dishes. Producers say that smart – sensor adapts the parameters of washing to the actual load of the machine. Therefore, the operating time varies from 1 h 15 min. Up to 1 hour and 35 minutes.

• Guests come over, have tea and cake. As a result, the tea service with all the saucers, cups and dessert plates got a little dirty. No need to put it through a standard wash, but a simple rinse isn’t all it’s cracked up to be.

  . The Zoom39 program is designed for dishes that are not heavily soiled. Class A wash with high pressure system and drying takes only 39 minutes. This program is suitable for washing up to 8 sets of dishes.

• If the dirty dishes are even less – maximum 6 sets, then activate the program Quick wash 24. gets dishes clean and dry in less than half an hour.

• The environmentally-conscious citizens who don’t want to pay extra for water and power can choose the ECO program. The dishwasher lasts longer than three hours, but consumes only 1.01-1.08 kW of electricity and 10 liters of water.
• Use the night program if the kitchen is next to a bedroom. Low electricity rates apply at these times, so you also save money.
• For very dirty dishes there is an intensive program, for glass and crystal – delicate program.
• If you’re stockpiling dishes to wash for a day or a couple of days, turn on Prewash. It washes food remains from the dishes and there is no unpleasant smell in the dishwasher.
• Universal task program duplicates the auto daily wash. It’s designed for generally dirty dishes. Slightly different, lasts two hours and water temperature 60°C. Can be pressed on the Express button.

Control

The control panel is located on the top edge of the door.

The first time you turn it on, you have to select the language of communication.

6 buttons:

• Switching on,
• Selecting programs registering wi-fi,
• Delayed start – until 23h,
• TABS – using the 3-in-1 detergent,
• Express,
• Start/reset.

Programs are indexed with clear symbols, each has a signed temperature.

– Pressing the “Express” button reduces water temperature by 25 percent and shortens drying time. Best used in the evening, dishes will dry themselves overnight.

• Using the timer, you can postpone the start of the wash until the middle of the night when the lowest electricity rates are in effect.

Nuances

• I have to press a lot of buttons before the machine beeps that it’s time to close the door.
• It is important to select the language on the panel when setting up the appliance for the first time. In my case, the guest plumber did not do it. Later I was able to change the settings only with the manufacturer’s advice.
• My model came with a bonus. “Surprise!” Candy built-in dishwashers don’t have a childproof lock. And my machine has. I accidentally locked the control panel. It took me a long time to unlock it. Thanks to the experienced Candy managers. They figured it out and told me what magic buttons to press. So if you have this problem, let me know what combination you need.

Via Wi-Fi

Let’s see if the Candy BRAVA will fit two hundred items.

This test was happily joined by my son, who was tired of distance learning and another dispatch of homework.

We stocked the machine with all the plates, saucers, spoons, forks, cups we found in the house, added pots, pans.

Result – 155 different-caliber items. The dishes in the house are done, but there is still room in the baskets of the machine.

Test #2. Daily wash

Every day for a month the machine washed dishes.

• Started the autoprogram 20 times, and after dinner the Candy BRAVA washed all the dishes for the day.
• Used the prewash 5 times so the dishwasher wouldn’t smell like fish.
• Used Express 8 times to avoid a long wait for the end of the wash.
• Runs 1 time on the Intensive washer.
• 7 times activated short programs.

No complaints about the quality of dishwashing. Every plate, cup, pan sparkled after washing.

My previous dishwasher couldn’t do that.

Test #3. Trays

I took out the upper basket, put the trays from the oven into the special grooves, which I never washed in the dishwasher, and turned on the intensive program.

The bottom line is: the front tray washed almost perfectly, the back tray has some spots.

Test #4. Control

I decided to pick on them, because “everything is perfect,” like the hero of a famous movie.

My son helped by happily dirtying plates and salad bowls with ketchup, mustard, and mayonnaise.

Let the mixture dry for a couple of hours, put the dishes in the machine, select the program Auto Daily Wash.

All dried up dirt is easily washed away, pots, glasses, salad bowls and plates are clean. Dirt on the pan has started to soften on the outside, a few more washes and the old greasy buildup will wash off permanently.

• Makes for perfect dishwashing.
• Works quietly.
• The baskets hold everything: glasses, plates, spoons and even trays.
• Conveniently controlled from your smartphone.

• A pity that the door of this model does not open automatically at the end of the program.
