Bosch: a new look at frost-free refrigeration

It has been a long time since the manufacturers of refrigerators delighted us with interesting technologies, limiting themselves to rearranging the shelves and playing with the lighting. At the end of April BOSCH company presented new refrigerators with NatureCool technology.

Refrigerators

The main thing is FRESH

I love modern fridges because they don’t need to be defrosted. And yes, I’m not from stories but from memories, I remember how it was: the refrigerator was off for 24 hours, a tray was put down, the water flowed down, and the food in the meantime was lying orphaned in the bath or in the bag behind the window. NoFrost technology saves us all this trouble. But presented several other problems that we had to put up with: because of the working fan, the products “dry out”, in order to avoid this, they need to be hermetically sealed, which is not always possible.

With the installation of fans in cold rooms, the question of humidity has become particularly important: this is where we store vegetables, cheese and other products. Of course, a small salvation is a “wet” freshness zone, but it is only one shelf, and all the vegetables may simply not fit on it.

The main feature of the NatureCool technology is the absence of forced air circulation. Cooling is provided by the entire rear wall behind which the evaporator is located. Humidity is optimal throughout the interior, so food doesn’t dry out and stays fresh and juicy for as long as possible.

The technology was developed in Germany, and the refrigerators are made at the company’s American plant, which has a positive effect on their cost. The warranty on the compressor reaches 10 years, and the manufacturer has set the service life of 10 years, indicating the high quality of equipment.

Large appliances for kitchen

Space and quiet

Refrigerators of a new series are very quiet. 38dB is not a record, but it is a very good indicator that allows you to install the refrigerators in studios and in kitchens combined with living rooms.

What is also very convenient – they can be placed close to the wall, there is no need to leave space for ventilation. The drawers of the freezer compartment can be pulled out easily when the door is open for 90˚ which is important if the refrigerator is near the kitchen cabinets.

All the refrigerators are “European”: tall – 185 or 200 cm high. The refrigerating chamber volume of the two-metre models is up to 257 l. And the fruit and vegetable compartment can hold, for example, two buckets of apples.

Light

The TwinLED lighting system with two LED lamps provides bright, even lighting for the entire refrigerator compartment. The light fittings are built into the walls of the refrigerator in such a way that they always remain open and are not covered by the products. Therefore, even if you want to have something to eat deep in the night, you will easily find a tasty snack without turning on the kitchen light.

Another small but welcome addition: a closed container on the door, which is convenient for storing cosmetics and medicine. It is roomy, located separately from the other shelves and does not penetrate any extraneous odors.

Refrigerators

More color and choice

There are many models in the BOSCHNatureCool fridge range, so you can choose according to your preferences.First of all the height – 185 or 200 cm. Color – classic white, beige or stainless steel. The models also differ in the design of the handles on the doors. The control panel can be located on the refrigerating chamber door or hidden behind it.

The new models will be on sale in time for the summer season to please all lovers of crunchy salads, arugula and greens that are just coming up in the suburban areas.

Is the new Bosch refrigerator truly frost-free or does it still require occasional defrosting? I’m looking for a hassle-free refrigeration experience and want to make sure I invest in a product that lives up to its claims. Thank you!
