BORK: sending the air to the wash

BORK introduces a new development to humidify and purify the air with nature’s best filter – water. BORK’s innovative hybrid technology – dispersal of humidified air through warming – doubles the cleaning rate. The latest range of air washers from BORK allows you to maintain an optimal level of humidity in the room, which naturally sterilizes the air.

Giving the air a headache

To create ideal conditions in the room requires not only constant moistening of the air to 40-60%, but also its purification from numerous hazardous to health contaminants. A universal solution for two tasks at once – air cleaning and humidification – is the new line of air washers BORK Q700 and BORK Q710.

BORK air washers are environmentally friendly devices that provide simultaneous air humidification and purification through the use of water as a natural filter. They are equipped with the ECO-AIR system, including an air filter, an antibacterial disc with a humidifying filter and an additional antibacterial OMCA cartridge.

Pre-filtration through the air filter eliminates hazardous gases, including ammonia, formaldehyde and other volatile compounds that can cause illness or odors.

The air then passes through a water filter whose design includes an antibacterial disk. As the anti-bacterial disc of the ECO-AIR system rotates, the water is filtered and micro-particles are atomized in steps, thus purifying the air of odors, dirt, dust, bacteria, allergens, mold and other pollutants by 99%.

Absolute safety of the humidification water is guaranteed by the optional OMCA antibacterial cartridge, which sterilizes the water in the spray tank, killing salmonella, E. coli and other harmful bacteria.

What’s new?

In addition to a qualitatively new level of filtration, BORK air washers have implemented a number of innovations that can be compared to the real revolution in humidification. BORK’s hybrid humidification technology multiplies the dispersion rate of humidified air by heating it.

A side effect of this technology is the prevention of formation of frost on the surface of the device, which can occur due to temperature differences during the winter. The result is an incredibly fast and powerful treatment of large volumes of air in a compact size of the device.

Control of BORK air washers are on the electronic panel with a simple and clear logic of settings. An automatic sensor monitors the state of humidity in the room. Automatic mode maintains a constant level of humidity in the room at 55%.

Maintaining the humidity level between 40-60% for a long time the air is perfectly sterilized, because these conditions are not favorable for the reproduction of viruses, bacteria, mold. Tonic “health” mode, which helps to strengthen the body, periodically changes the intensity of the device by switching between turbo/strong and weak modes.

A special children’s mode allows you to maintain ideal humidity levels in the children’s room, because unhumidified air is especially harmful for children, and their immune system is more sensitive to violations of the microclimate in the room. For maximum comfort at night, there is a night mode with LCD backlight off and noise level reduced to 23dB.

The new air washers BORK Q700 and BORK Q710 are a worthy representative of the brand identity that stands for sophisticated design, high quality and innovative technology. BORK products have become indispensable attribute of luxurious lifestyle for people who appreciate individuality and comfort and care about their health.

The BORK Q700 and BORK Q710 air washers are expected to go on sale in December 2010.
