BISTRO b. Over – the world’s first coffee maker that can brew a pressure cooker

Poirover method is the most natural method among all existing coffee brewing methods: it doesn’t change the taste of coffee beans, but allows to taste them as they are in their natural state. Never before has it been possible to make coffee with a coffee machine so that the taste and quality of the beverage were absolutely identical to the way of brewing by hand. Unlike traditional BISTRO b coffee machines. Over allows you to brew a drink without exposing it to boiling water or hot steam, exactly reproducing the process of manual brewing.

Where did the coffee craze come from??

Until the advent of Bodum coffee maker there were no coffee machines, capable of brewing coffee using the Pourover method: such brewing was done only manually, using special pots and devices, and the process of brewing is a ritual with a strictly defined sequence of actions.

Everyone knows about the existence of the tea ceremony, and the pour-over is a coffee ceremony. BODUM found a way to automate this complex and beautiful process of brewing coffee using the pourover method.

Despite the fact that coffee Roofer is very fashionable in the U.S. and Europe the fashion for it came along with a passion for organic products , so far it could only be tasted in specialized coffee houses. A new coffee maker makes the pourover accessible to everyone.

Bodum company more than once invented new gadgets for brewing coffee and tea. The design of some of them has become famous, and Bodum’s items can be seen in the collections of design museums and contemporary art, and some of them were honored to be in the collection of the famous New York museum MoMa.

Who made it?

Bistro b coffee brewer.Over was invented by Bodum design team, headed by Jorgen Bodum. Jorgen – son of Bodum’s founder Peter Bodum – has been at the helm of the company since 1974. The Bistro line, which includes the new coffee machine, is 35 years old – the first Bistro was launched in 1974.

Swiss brand Bodum are big specialists in creating new devices for brewing coffee. One of the most famous items designed by Bodum is the French Chambord press. One of the most unusual is the Santos vacuum coffee maker, which consists of two clear glass spherical vessels.

The creation of the electric pour-over coffee maker was a new milestone and a great achievement for Bodum. Purover is one of the most complicated ways of brewing coffee. To learn it you need to attend special courses, you need to buy a whole arsenal of equipment funnel, filters, purrover-tea pot, heat preserving vessel, heating element with temperature control .

But the pourover is worth all the trouble. This is the only way to make coffee with a clean taste, without the notes added by the aggression of boiling water or red-hot steam, the usual means of brewing this beverage. Pourover is the only way to brew coffee, which keeps the taste natural, natural and pure. For this flavor, coffee gourmets had to go to cafes, t.k. Pourover-ceremony is almost impossible to arrange at home.

It is this unusual coffee and decided to make more accessible Bodum. The task before the designers was not an easy one – on the one hand, to create a kitchen gadget that would look modern and bright. On the other hand, come up with a mechanism that is as gentle and reverent as a pourover-master to make that coffee.

Coffee machine Bistro b.Over was the work of the entire design team. The result of this team effort is a rectangular-shaped device with an integrated coffee funnel and a thermo jug, which together resemble an hourglass.

Rear wall of coffee maker is transparent. When brewing by hand we can observe the process, that’s why it was decided to make observation process possible in this coffee maker, too. The dance of water traveling down the tubes and the rain of water droplets irrigating the coffee is a real theater of coffee brewing.

Bodum’s manual pour-over is simulated with an intricate design of a shower spraying water in fine droplets and a series of heat-resistant tempered glass tubes. Heating element inside the coffee maker controls the water temperature, keeping it within the limits of 92-96 degrees, necessary for the pour-over.

Water moves inside the coffee maker on glass tubes, moving, it does not lose temperature because the glass tube – heat-resistant. Getting on the coffee through the silicone nozzle, which crushes the water jet into droplets, the water soaks the coffee slowly just like in manual brewing.

Bistro b.Over – the world’s only pour-over coffee maker at the moment. No one has ever managed to automate the delicate process of brewing.

Coffee maker price 7 350 Dollars. – within the next few weeks, after – 10 500 Dollars.,

This is incredible! I’m curious to know more about the BISTRO b. Over. How does it work as both a coffee maker and a pressure cooker? Can you explain the technology behind it and its benefits? Also, does it offer different brewing options and pressure cooking settings? I’m intrigued to know if it lives up to its claim of being the world’s first coffee maker that can do both. Thanks in advance for enlightening me!
