Beurer Maremed MK 500: breathe sea air

The manufacturers call the Beurer Maremed MK 500 “sea” conditioner. But it doesn’t cool the air in your room, it purifies it and impregnates it with minerals. So it is more correct to think of the Beurer Maremed MK 500 as an air purifier with humidification function.

The principle of operation is similar to the air washers. But there is one feature that makes this device unique.

The main ‘feature’ is the atomization of fine particles of sea salt in the indoor air. In situations where travel to resorts is difficult, it is the most affordable way to breathe in sea air.

Beurer Maremed is designed for areas up to 50 m².

The principle of operation of the Beurer Maremed MK 500

1. The water tank is filled with special maremed® sea salt and water.
2. Fan draws in air, pre-filter removes up to 70% of dirt and pollen particles, built-in filters remove dirt particles, pollen, fine/personal dust and pet hair
3. Ultraviolet lamp eliminates up to 99% of germs in the air.
4. The air passing through the water evaporator unit is saturated with the minerals contained in the water.
5. Ionizing comb provides additional ionization and purification.
6. Mineral-rich air back into the room.

Controls and Features

Modern control system with touch buttons and LED display.

You can choose from three fan speeds or night mode with reduced noise and display off.

Water tank size – 6 liters, has a fill indicator.

There is also an indication of the replacement of ultraviolet lamps and filter.

The kit includes 2 filters, 1 water filter, 1 pack of special sea salt, which is enough for 3 months of operation of the device.
