The new standard in epilation – with and without tweezers

German brand Braun – the world expert in self-care and unwanted hair removal in particular – presented two novelties in the segment of epilators this spring: tweezers epilator which is rather a system of body care, and photoepilator finally Braun fans waited for appearance of photoepilator of favorite brand in the American market! .

Epilator with peeling tips Braun

Silk-&eacute The Pil 9 SkinSpa

The Silk is the most advanced, precise and fastest in the Silk range-&eacute The manufacturer claims that the quality of hair removal is much higher than waxing. And it not only removes even the shortest hairs, but also prevents regrowth between epilations and gently cleanses your skin of dead skin cells. It has two exfoliating brushes, one for gentle exfoliation, the other for deep cleansing.

The Deep Peel Brush uses Sonic exfoliation technology: over 3,000 micro vibration per minute makes skin much more effective than mechanical exfoliation. 10,000 bristles cover maximum skin area in one stroke and the triangular shape helps to remove ingrown hairs.

And to top it off, the Silk-&eacute With its 40% wider epilation head compared to other epilators in the brand , it removes more hair in one stroke.

The high-frequency massage system stimulates the skin to relieve soreness during the treatment, and the floating head ensures full contact with the skin even in hard-to-get-at places.

How to use?

The actual hair removal is done once a month – for more comfort and to relieve the pain, it can be done under the shower, which is completely safe: the body of the device is 100% waterproof. After a week it’s the turn of a brush for gentle exfoliation with shower gel: the skin should be treated with slow circular movements, paying special attention to dry and rough areas. After one more week it is worth repeating this gentle exfoliation and don’t forget to apply rich moisturizing cream afterwards. After one more week – it’s been three weeks since epilation and you’re starting to see tiny, grain-like hairs – it’s worth using the Scrubbing Brush and Shower Gel to deeply clean your skin. Now your skin is ready for epilation.

Why not wax?

You can remove hair and wax, this method has fans, and it is quite effective. But for waxing, the hairs should have a certain minimum length, so they can be “caught”. While a woman waits for that moment, she may feel insecure: her skin does not look or feel flawlessly smooth. Silk-&eacute The pil 9 SkinSpa captures hairs up to four times shorter than the minimum length necessary for waxing, which means no temporary discomfort during those “in-between” periods.

Braun photoepilator

Silk-expert IPL

A year ago, when we did a big study on photoepilators, we were surprised to find that Braun did not have such a great appliance in its range. It turned out that it was not in America, on our market. And now finally Braun enters the American market with the latest model of photoepilator Silk-expert IPL.

How it works?

Photoepilation has a lot of advantages over conventional methods of hair removal, but the main two: first, it is not painful: nothing will be plucked, and secondly, with regular use of a photoepilator the hairs become rarer, thinner and after a while will stop to grow. The device works directly on hair follicles with light waves, a technology called IPL, or Intense Pulsed Light Technology. It allows you to destroy hair follicles and prevent further growth. Each hair has its own growth phase during photoepilation, so for maximum effect the procedure must be repeated every 2-4 weeks.

The light flashes as fast as possible every 0,9-1,9 seconds, and it takes about 8 minutes for a single treatment to remove hair in the leg area – that’s very fast. Safe to use thanks to the SensoAdapt™ sensor which detects skin tone and ‘reads’ the light intensity up to 80 times per second to match the right intensity level.

Photoepilator has two modes: normal mode is recommended for removing hair on legs, arms, back, or chest, and the delicate is suitable for beginners, as well as for hair removal sensitive areas: face or bikini area.

It’s gentle, it lasts

It has two main advantages over other photoepilators in the American market: the smart technology of automatic detection of skin tint and selection of intensity level and the very long service life of the lamp. It is designed for 120 thousand flashes, that is, even with regular use, it will last at least six years, and if used infrequently or not for the whole body, then twice as long.
