The main differences between the ASW AS412 subwoofer and the ASW 112d dipole speaker lie in their design and functionality. The ASW AS412 is a subwoofer that is specifically designed to reproduce low-frequency sounds and enhance the deep bass in audio systems. On the other hand, the ASW 112d is a dipole speaker that radiates sound both forwards and backwards, providing a more dispersed sound field.

Considering your focus on deep, rich bass in a medium-sized room, the ASW AS412 subwoofer would be the ideal choice. As a dedicated subwoofer, it is optimized to reproduce low frequencies with precision and power, delivering a more impactful and immersive bass experience. The ASW 112d dipole speaker, although capable of producing bass, may not offer the same level of depth and richness as the ASW AS412 in a focused manner.
