ASUS showcased its innovations at CES 2017

ASUS CEO Jonney Shih unveiled the latest ASUS ZenFone AR and ASUS ZenFone 3 Zoom smartphones at the Zennovation press conference at the 2017 Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas.

The new ASUS ZenFone AR became the world’s first smartphone with simultaneous support for Google Tango and Daydream technologies. Tango technology is a set of special sensors and special software developed by Google that make the device’s camera capable of working in augmented reality AR mode, i.e.e. Build a three-dimensional map of the real world and combine it with various virtual objects.

Daydream is a new platform for mobile devices, also developed by Google, allowing a touch of virtual reality. The new ASUS ZenFone 3 Zoom smartphone offers advanced features for mobile photography enthusiasts. Special attention should be paid to the battery of the smartphone, which has a capacity of 5000 mAh.

ASUS ZenFone AR also became the world’s first mobile device with Google Tango technology, equipped with the latest high-performance Qualcomm® Snapdragon™ 821 processor. ASUS ZenFone 3 Zoom hardware configuration includes Snapdragon 625 processor.

At the press conference, Cristiano Amon, executive vice president of Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. told more about the advanced processors, installed in the new smartphones ASUS ZenFone AR and ASUS ZenFone 3 Zoom. and president of QCT.
