Superb performance in a compact design

ASUS ZenBook 3 Deluxe layout is a true work of engineering, as the developers managed to fit a 14-inch NanoEdge Display into the dimensions of a 13-inch notebook. It’s a record 12.9 millimeters thick and weighs just 1.1 kilograms.

ZenBook 3 Deluxe design philosophy is simple: “No compromises!”. The ultrabook enclosure is machined from a single piece of aircraft-grade aluminum, 50% harder than standard alloy, and then forged through 40 stages to achieve its luxurious final form.

An advanced two-phase anodizing process gives the diamond-cut bezels and ASUS logo a golden finish. Like its predecessor, the ASUS ZenBook 3 Deluxe is the pinnacle of the ZenBook family, and its thin, lightweight form factor is exemplified by the company’s signature concentric-circle design.

Incredible power, new level

ZenBook 3 Deluxe is the successor to the legendary ZenBook 3, with awesome performance levels. ASUS engineers incorporate the latest features, including an Intel Core i7-7500U, up to 16GB of memory running at 2133MHz, and an ultra-fast PCIe Gen 3 x4 SSD of up to 1TB. Two of the three USB Type-C ports are dedicated to high-speed peripherals and Thunderbolt 3 connectivity at up to 40Gb/s, which is twice the speed of Thunderbolt 2 and eight times faster than USB 3.0.

Both USB Type-C/Thunderbolt connectors on the ZenBook 3 Deluxe can be used to connect an external graphics dock and displays – up to two 4K/Ultra HD. Despite the ultra-slim body profile, the ZenBook 3 Deluxe comes with a high-capacity 46Wh battery and can run for up to 9 hours without recharging, and it can be recharged by connecting power to any of the three USB-C connectors.

To maintain proper thermal balance with such powerful components, engineers had to invent a completely new cooling system using the latest advances in component design, such as a 0.3mm thick liquid crystal polymer fan impeller or a copper alloy heat pipe with a wall thickness of just 0.1mm. This innovative cooling system is only 3mm thick and draws cool air outward through hidden ducting in the hinge, remaining efficient and quiet even under prolonged full load.

A stunning 14-inch Full HD 1920×1080 NanoEdge Display has an extremely thin bezel only 7.46mm , which translates to a screen area of 84% relative size. More importantly, it gives you an unobstructed view of your display from any angle 178° viewing angles . The display is covered by special Corning Gorilla Glass 5 for edge-to-edge protection.

100% sRGB color gamut and 1000:1 contrast ratio ensure vibrant, true-to-life colors, rich blacks and incredible detail. ASUS Tru2life Video optimizes each frame with pixel-by-pixel real-time visuals for up to 150% higher contrast and sharpness.

ASUS has partnered with Harman/Kardon audio experts to provide next-generation ASUS SonicMaster Premium audio technology for an unparalleled audio experience. ASUS ZenBook 3 Deluxe features a powerful audio system with four speakers for surround sound, and a four-channel amplifier that delivers high volume without distortion.

Perfect ergonomics

ZenBook 3 Deluxe is designed with mobile users in mind, so its keyboard is optimized for long hours of comfortable use. The keys are generously sized and have an increased key travel of up to 1.2mm for better accuracy and typing comfort. The built-in backlight is in the tone of the case – white for the silver version and gold for the blue version.

ASUS ZenBook 3 Deluxe has a smooth glass touchpad for the fastest, most precise glide. It features Windows Precision Touchpad WPT with gesture and handwriting recognition, and palm-touch protection. With the fingerprint scanner built into the touchpad, you no longer need to type in a password every time to log in – just touch the scanner with your finger.
