Asus presents its two flagship models, Zenbook UX301 and UX302, which feature unique design with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection with Native Damage Resistance technology. Debuted at Computex 2013, the Zenbook UX301 and UX302 are the next generation of ultrabooks from the Zenbook line launched in 2011. Its distinctive Zenbook-inspired metallic design is enhanced with dazzling Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protectors.
Corning Gorilla Glass 3 boasts the same durability as Gorilla Glass 2, but the new NDR formula gives it three times the scratch resistance. In addition, scratches themselves, if they do appear, will be much less noticeable than on Gorilla Glass 2, and will have less effect on the overall durability of the protective coating.
High-performance hardware configuration
The new Zenbook Series comes with a 13.3″ IPS display with 1920×1080 or 2560×1440 pixels, producing a wide 178° viewing angle. Its multi-touch interface is ideal for interacting with Windows 8 apps.
The new ultrabooks include a fourth-generation Intel Core processor with up to dual-core Core i7-4558U and optional SSD up to 512GB in RAID 0 . With Intel Iris integrated graphics or NVIDIA GeForce GT 730M discrete graphics with Optimus technology.
Featured interfaces on the new Zenbook models include 802 Wi-Fi.11ac, Bluetooth 4.0 and USB 3.0. Both models, available in white and blue, feature an auto-backlit keyboard and large touchpad with Windows 8 gesture support. Outstanding audio enjoyment in all applications is provided by Asus’ exclusive SonicMaster audio technology.
Affordability and price
Asus Zenbook UX301 will appear on American market in the middle of November and will be sold from 64 990 Dollars.
Asus Zenbook UX302 is expected to appear on the American market in December. This model will be sold from 43,990 Dollars.
