ASUS introduces new graphics cards based on Radeon RX 500 series graphics processors

ASUS introduces a new line of graphics cards based on the latest AMD® Radeon® RX 580, RX 570, RX 560 and RX 550 graphic processors for gamers. New models feature superior performance, enhanced cooling, stylish styling and customization options, and unmatched reliability.

Graphics cards

The new ASUS Republic of Gamers ROG Strix RX 580, RX 570 and RX 560 graphics cards support the ASUS Aura Sync LED backlight sync technology. The fans on the ASUS Dual RX 580 feature optimized fan geometry, and at low to medium load levels, when the GPU temperature remains below the set point, the cooler will cool the Strix graphics card in passive mode, that is, with zero fan noise. The ASUS Expedition graphics card features

RX 570 is more robust, especially appreciated by professional gamers. Powerful ASUS RX 560 and RX 550 graphics cards designed specifically for compact gaming PCs.

Fully automated Auto Extreme manufacturing technology and the use of only the highest quality Super Alloy Power II components ensure stable performance and longevity. New graphics cards come with GPU Tweak II software for graphics card tuning and monitoring. The new Gaming Booster feature instantly allocates all available processing power to the applications you are running, for maximum performance. The software package also includes an annual or 14-day license for XSplit Gamecaster, a handy utility for broadcasting and recording game play annual license, sold separately, is $99 . It also displays system monitoring data GPU frequency, graphics card temperature, video memory utilization and includes controls for the GPU Tweak II utility for example, to switch between profiles with settings or instantly overclock the graphics card .

ROG Strix RX 580, RX 570 and RX 560

ROG Strix RX 580, RX 570 and RX 560 graphics cards are equipped with the improved cooling system, offering high performance and an unrivaled level of reliability. The exclusive ASUS Aura Sync LED backlight technology is used to bring out the best in your system.

The ROG Strix RX 580 graphics card is available in three configurations, differing in graphics core frequency: 1360 MHz, 1380 MHz, 1431 MHz. All versions of Strix RX 580 graphics cards feature a cooling system with the exclusive MaxContact GPU heat dissipation technology. This is a new technology of copper base heatsink. With a smoother surface on the base, this cooler provides more contact area and therefore better heat transfer. This graphics card takes up 2.5 slots in width, which allowed to increase its heatsink surface area by 40%, which contributes to the improved cooling of the device.

ROG Strix RX 570 and RX 560 feature the exclusive DirectCU II cooling system: copper heat pipe cooler makes direct contact with the surface of the GPU. Thanks to the use of this technology the performance of the cooling system increases by up to 30%.

Optimized fan geometry fans, included in the ROG Strix RX 580, RX 570 and RX 560, increase airflow and static pressure by 105% compared to a reference model cooler. At small and

In medium load, when the temperature of the graphics processor remains below a certain level, the cooler will cool these graphics cards in passive mode, that is, at zero noise from the fans. The fans used on these models are dust-proof, meeting the requirements of IP5X standard. That means they are durable, which in turn increases the lifetime of the entire device. These graphics cards also feature a 4-pin connector1 for PWM or voltage regulated case fan FanConnect II technology . Its speed changes based on CPU and GPU temperatures – whichever is higher. In addition, the user has the ability to flexibly adjust the adjustment algorithm using the proprietary GPU Tweak II utility.

Stylish Aura LED backlighting on the ROG Strix RX 580, RX 570, and RX 560 series graphics cards offers millions of color combinations in conjunction with six stunning visual effects.

Proprietary ASUS Aura Sync technology allows multiple Aura LED-backlit devices to be used together, enabling perfect synchronization of visuals from a single control center from a convenient app. Dual HDMI ports allow you to connect a VR set to your graphics card without disconnecting the monitor.

ASUS Dual RX 580

ASUS Dual RX 580 graphics card is ideal for virtual reality and eSports gaming. High-quality fans with optimized fan geometry deliver increased airflow and static pressure up to 105% higher than the reference model. At the same time they produce three times less noise. At low to medium load, the cooler will cool the graphics card in passive mode, i.e. with zero fan noise. In addition, the fans are dust-tight, fulfilling the IP5X standard. This speaks to their durability, which in turn increases the life of the entire device.

The innovative 0DB Dual RX 580 technology completely stops the fan when the GPU temperature is below a preset level, allowing gamers to enjoy intense, silent gaming sessions. The fans are also IP5X dust-protected for increased reliability.

ASUS Dual RX 580 graphics card is equipped with two HDMI ports, which allows you to simultaneously connect a standard monitor and a virtual reality system.

ASUS Expedition RX 570

ASUS Expedition RX 570 graphics card has improved reliability, so it’s a great addition to a powerful gaming system. Dual ball bearing fans used in ASUS Expedition RX 570 graphics card cooler have twice the lifespan of traditional sleeve bearing fans. The new graphics cards also run absolutely silent when the GPU temperature drops below a certain point, making it completely silent for extended periods of time.

Each ASUS Expedition RX 570 graphics card has been tested for 144 hours at ASUS iCafe Labs. Testing includes a two-hour system reboot test and a fifteen-hour stress test in 3DMark, among other things, ensuring that the graphics cards will last under load for an extended period of time. In addition, iCafe Labs engineers conducted extensive tests on Expedition series graphics cards in the most popular games, which once again proved their unsurpassed reliability.

Asus

ASUS RX 560 and RX 550

ASUS RX 560 and RX 550 graphics cards feature dust-proof fans that meet international IP5X standard requirements. This ensures their durability, which in turn increases the lifespan of the entire device. The RX 560 includes two fans, while the compact RX 550 has only one, making it ideal for compact PCs.
