Apple breadcrumbs quiche is a unique dish that combines the flavors of apples and breadcrumbs in a savory way. The breadcrumbs are typically mixed into the quiche filling, adding texture and binding the ingredients together. This dish is not sweet like apple pie; instead, it offers a wonderful balance of flavors. The sweetness of the apples complements the savory elements, such as cheese and herbs. The textures vary from the creamy custard-like filling to the crunchiness of the breadcrumbs. While no specific recipe is provided, the general technique involves preparing a quiche crust, filling it with a mixture of sautéed apples, cheese, eggs, and cream, and then topping it off with breadcrumbs before baking. The result is a delicious and unique dish that blends both sweet and savory flavors.

Start by whisking eggs and milk/cream together and pouring into the pie crust. Add shredded cheese, diced apples, and breadcrumbs on top. Bake until the quiche is set.

The apples in the quiche add a sweet and slightly tart flavor, which complements the savory elements like cheese and eggs. It is a unique and delicious variation of quiche that can be a crowd-pleaser.

To make the perfect apple breadcrumbs quiche, make sure to thinly slice the apples to ensure even distribution in the filling.
