Fast and bright

The word AGON, the name of AOC’s premium gaming series, comes from an ancient Greek term that means “conflict”, “struggle” or “rivalry”. The all-new AGON AG273QZ monitor lives up to its name, as it is designed for intense competition, which it easily handles with its 240Hz refresh rate and 0.5ms response time. This results in a noticeable reduction in pixel switching time, which is now just half a millisecond. As a result, the AG273QZ makes no compromises and delivers the best picture quality and color reproduction with lightning fast performance.

The AG273QZ features a TN panel with QHD resolution 2560×1440 pixels , 400 nits peak brightness and supports VESA DisplayHDR400 standard. HDR compatible games and movies look incredibly realistic, enhancing the immersive experience. The AG273QZ displays an impressively wide color gamut 126.4% sRGB, 93.7% AdobeRGB with colors looking more vibrant than any other. If we go on about colors, the monitor is also equipped with AOC Light FX: a customizable RGB LED backlight ring on the back panel, which will make the games even brighter. In addition, AMD FreeSync Premium Pro technology minimizes delays caused by HDR tonal display, and support for variable refresh rate eliminates image jerks.

Functionality

AOC knows what gamers need, not least because of its sponsorship of the G2 Esports team. So it’s no surprise that the manufacturer added a convenient handle on top of the stand so the unit can be carried around when used at tournaments and LAN parties. In addition, there are headset holders on both sides of the monitor. The AG273QZ also comes with an ergonomic stand that allows you to adjust the height, tilt and swivel, allowing gamers to adopt the most comfortable posture possible. At the same time, Flicker-Free technology and Low Blue Light mode minimize eyestrain during long gaming marathons. Additional features include AOC Game Color, AOC Shadow Control, six gaming modes three of which are customizable , an updated OSD interface and new software for it G-Menu .
