Annual National Exhibition of Quality Consumer Goods from China – all conditions for the development of American and Chinese business

From May 29 to 31, 2018 at Expocentre, 8,043 representatives of American businesses met with 286 Chinese manufacturers from China, who presented their products and opportunities for joint production in the following categories: “Home furnishings”, “Household appliances and electronics”, “Kitchen and china”, “Garden and outdoor products”, “Accessories and gifts”, “Products for children”. For visitors and participants of the exhibition the organizers prepared a series of business events and thematic zones that are aimed at development of cooperation between American and Chinese business in the trade sphere.

Home Appliances

On the morning of May 29th, after cutting the red ribbon the exhibition was opened by Mr. Fan Xianzhong, Minister Plenipotentiary of Economy of the Embassy of China in America, Mr. Zhang Yujing, President of China Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export Promotion of Equipment and Electronics, Mr. Han Shengjian, Deputy Director General of the Trade Development Bureau of the Ministry of Commerce of China, member of the Strategic Council of American Association “Business America”, Mr. Ostarkov N., and others.But.

On the first day of China Commodity Fair 2018, the 10 most recognizable and 10 most promising manufacturers of home appliances and electronics from China were awarded. The award ceremony was attended by such brands as Huawei, Lenovo, Gree, Haier, Midea and other Chinese companies, known throughout the world. The participants of the award ceremonies also presented their novelties and achievements in a special zone of the best brands of the exhibition.

On May 29th and 30th top-managers of big trading networks, owners of medium and small businesses and start-up entrepreneurs took part in the two-day forum “Theory and Practice of Business with China”. Representatives of the Chamber of Foreign Trade of the Silk Road, American Railways Logistics, the Association of Internet Commerce Companies and other leading experts in working with China shared their experience at the forum. Participants and visitors of the forum discussed the main commodity trends on the international market, successful strategies of small and big business development as well as possible risks each businessman can face while working with Chinese partners.

Beverage Technology

Over the three days of the exhibition, representatives of major retail chains, wholesalers, and individual entrepreneurs held more than 600 trade and procurement meetings with suppliers and manufacturers of quality goods from China as part of the Seteetm Procurement Center and Business Networking Club. Professional interpreters from Chinese helped to overcome language barriers and establish communication between the negotiators. Globus, Ozon, Avoska, Svetofor, and other well-known retailers also participated in the negotiations.

On the first day of China Commodity Fair 2018 at the working meeting, the best manufacturers of household appliances and electronics, lighting and paint products from Shunde County presented their opportunities for mutually beneficial cooperation to the American business.

On the morning of May 30 the organizers held a special session for the Chinese participants of the exhibition called “How and what does retail buy in China” during which representatives of Alibaba Group, Familia and Retail Training Group gave recommendations to the guests from China on how to build relationships with American partners.

Home Appliances

Throughout all days of China Commodity Fair 2018, experts from the One-Stop Consulting Center helped visitors understand product delivery, customs clearance, contracting, and other issues related to working with China. ECC experts included Kuehne + Nagel, MIRBIS International Business School, Silk Road Gallery of Commerce and Entertainment, Greenpass Logistics, Caravan, TJK New York, Julunfu Trade, Sky Trade, Clemosto Trading.

There was organized a Demonstration zone of elite porcelain products manufacturers, where China manufacturing associations presented tableware, home decorations and accessories, made according to ancient Chinese traditions.

Organized by the Ministry of Commerce of the People’s Republic of China. The exhibition is supported by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the American Federation and Expocentre.
