ACAA – studio-quality performance

New ACAA Astria Coaxial Acoustic Architecture technology combines the strengths of two speakers. The armature driver from the manufacturer Knowles perfectly details the sound, transmitting high and mid frequencies as they would be in the studio. At the same time the 11mm diameter dynamic driver adds depth and punch, which is especially valuable in compositions with a lot of bass and a complex percussion section. Thanks to the enclosure design, the dual ACAA system is aimed directly at the ear canal. It balances highs and lows for the purest sound you’ll ever hear from a wireless headphone. Dynamic driver gives the sound scene the scale of a stadium, and the armature driver gives the accuracy of a chamber hall.

Battery life and HearID

All of the pluses described above can be cancelled out if the headphones play for one hour on battery power and charge for 12 hours at a time. This is not the case with the Liberty 2 Pro. Anker Innovations engineers have prepared a powerful answer for all music lovers without extra wires. The flagship Liberty 2 Pro can play for up to 8 hours on a single charge. Thanks to the case in which the headphones are stored and charged, this time can be extended up to 32 hours, as the case is enough for three full charge cycles. In addition, Liberty 2 Pro support fast charging. Ten minutes in the case and you can listen to music for two hours more. The case charges via USB Type C and wireless charging.

Separately, Anker worked on the software interface. Liberty 2 Pro connects to your smartphone via Bluetooth and is controlled by special HearID app. This gives you the fine detail to tune the headphones to perfectly match any musical genre. In addition to a music equalizer and 22 presets for different directions, HearID tests your hearing to determine individual characteristics and preferences. This achieves the ultimate customization and your Liberty 2 Pro will really be customized to you.

What else?

In addition to its main function of revealing your favorite music to you in a new way, the Liberty 2 Pro can also work in headset mode. With four microphones and noise-canceling technology from Qualcomm, you can talk on the busy street and the subway. Your caller’s voice sounds clearer and louder as the headphones automatically detect it and add decibels. With a 60% reduction in ambient noise.

The flagship model in Anker Innovations’ wireless headphones lineup is hailed by even the most picky sound professionals – music producers. While working on the Liberty 2 Pro, the company gathered feedback from ten Grammy winners. Among them: nine-time winner Darrell Thorpe, who has worked with Pink and Beck. In his words, “he was just blown away” by the sound of the Liberty 2 Pro. Five-time Grammy winner James Cassidy Turbin also praised the headphones’ near-perfect sound, which is not affected by internal mechanical distortion.
