September 22, 2016, New York ā Whirlpool, the largest manufacturer of home appliances, announces the appointment of Andrea Pajusco as CEO of Whirlpool America and Asia. Philipp Kaltenbach, who has led the division for the past five years, will continue in a similar role in France.
Throughout his more than twenty years at Whirlpool, Andrea Pajusco has worked in various fields and markets, starting his career in Italy. Andrea was then responsible for the Hong Kong and emerging markets in Asia. From 2004 to 2007, Andrea was responsible for the sales of built-in appliances in the Italian office of. In 2009 he became General Manager for Northern Europe and since 2013 he has been head of the French office.
As part of the upcoming work in the American and CIS market, the new CEO assessed the current economic conditions of the market and outlined strategic goals for each of the brands that make up Whirlpool Corporation: Indesit, Hotpoint, Whirlpool and KitchenAid.
