Amazfit Stratos 3 is a smart watch for those who overcome themselves

Huami presents new “smart” watch Amazfit Stratos 3, created especially for athletes. Skiing, running, hiking, swimming, biking, mountaineering – the novelty is suitable for every sport. And thanks to the special algorithm FIRSTBEAT Stratos 3 will help to improve training and achieve new results.

Monitor their exercise and health

Amazfit Stratos 3 features 11 sport modes and reads 19 sport modes. And to monitor your heart rate and calculate exercise cycles, the special Huami BioTracker™ sensor will monitor your heart rate not only during exercise, but throughout the day.

Sports analysis system FIRSTBEAT will allow you to analyze your workout at the end of it – the data will be automatically loaded into the app and evaluated on four parameters: maximum oxygen saturation VO2Max , exercise result Exercise Effect , load Exercise Load and recovery time data Recovery Time Data . Based on these metrics, you’ll be able to adjust your activity.

Day and night on land, in the water and in the air

Whether you’re running long workouts, running marathons, climbing mountains, or enduring the toughest tests, the Amazfit Stratos 3 is there for you. The geolocation sensor will continuously track your route for 35-70 hours, with support for all global positioning systems GPS + GLONASS/GPS + GALILEO/GPS + BEIDOU for high speed and accuracy.

Even if you’re going on a multi-day hike, the Amazfit Stratos 3 will keep track of your activity for 14 days on a single charge in power-saving mode. And smart features will still be available – for example, smartphone notifications will continue to show up on your smartwatch screen.

Amazfit Stratos 3 remains in place even in the water, something swimmers and triathletes will appreciate. Watch case is not only protected against splashing, you can dive to a depth of 50 meters. And the transflective MIP display will show information clearly both underwater and in bright sunlight.

How they’re built

A dual-core ARM CortexTM-M4T processor, which consumes very little power and can operate in two modes, is responsible for the speed of operation and sensor reading. The first mode, Smart, allows you to receive notifications and use the device as a smart watch. The second mode, Ultra, is designed for long run times.

A round 1.34-inch display with 320×320 resolution hidden under tempered Corning Gorilla Glass 3 with oleophobic coating. Stratos 3 connects to the Amazfit app via Bluetooth 4.2 + BLE 5.0 and support connection to 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi networks for file transfers and syncing with the app.

To make sure you don’t miss touching the screen while running, the watch features four physical buttons. It’s also comfortable to use when your hands are wet. In addition, Huami engineers created a silicone “breathable” strap that doesn’t chafe your skin or interfere with your activities.
