Acer launches Enduro line of rugged laptops and tablets

Acer releases a new line of Enduro ruggedized notebooks and tablets that are durable, portable and productive for workers in the field. Quick responders and industrial production workers will find a reliable assistant in Acer Enduro N7, and event organizers and lovers of outdoor activities will appreciate slim and light, but durable Enduro N3. Enduro Series tablets are also suitable for retail, warehouse and factory workers.

Acer Enduro N7 Rugged Notebook

The Acer Enduro N7 is a rugged notebook made with impact-resistant materials that offer the durability demanded by first responders, field workers and production workers. MIL-810G and IP651 certified, the device can withstand being dropped on the hardest flooring and resist dust and water penetration. This ruggedness makes the device suitable for a wide range of environments, and the 14-inch FHD screen with 700 nits of brightness provides excellent visibility both indoors and outdoors. For the convenience of those who work long hours, the Enduro N7 comes with two batteries. The first is a hot-swappable, 10-hour battery2 and the second has a built-in battery for backup.

The Enduro N7 is not only built to physically withstand the demanding work environment, but also features the technical solutions needed to tackle todayā€™s work tasks. The quad-core 8th generation IntelĀ® Coreā„¢ i5 processor delivers enough power for seamless switching between applications and multi-tasking. Enduro N7 also has high information security. Trusted Platform Module TPM 2 hardware solution.0 checks for signs of intrusion during system startup, and Acer Enduro Manageability Suite AEMS provides protection while simplifying deployment of services and system configurations across multiple devices simultaneously. Fingerprint sensor can be used to securely sign in with Windows Hello.

Acer Enduro N3 rugged notebook

The Acer Enduro N3 is a powerful notebook that strikes a balance between ruggedness and portability, making it the ideal choice for users who are constantly

move between jobsites. Possible users include architects, project inspectors, event managers, farm workers and outdoor enthusiasts who want to capture their adventures. Enduro N3 is designed to provide protection against liquid droplets and water. Itā€™s MIL-STD 810G and IP533 certified, yet is slim and lightweight at just 24.85 mm thin and 1.985 kg. Durable features include reinforced corners to protect against drops, CorningĀ® GorillaĀ® glass to protect the display against water, and a unique waterproof Aquafanā„¢ fan.

In addition to pure physical robustness, it boasts a high level of cyber-threat resistance thanks to solutions such as Discrete Trusted Platform Module, AEMS and password protected hard drives. This toolkit secures the device for up to 13 hours of battery life2 without compromising performance. The Enduro N3 features a 10th generation Intel Core i7 processor and 32GB of DDR4 memory for high performance. Optional NVIDIAĀ® GeForceĀ® MX230 discrete graphics card and 512GB PCle Gen3 NVMe SSD hard drive for particularly demanding tasks.

Acer Enduro Management Suite AEMS

The Acer Enduro Management Suite AEMS is a system designed to simplify management of a large array of devices. It enables you to better protect your existing devices and accelerate the commissioning of new ones. The AEMS console allows the manager to remotely interact with AEMS-enabled devices in the following ways:

1.Programmable hardware buttons: AEMS-enabled tablets and laptops feature hardware buttons next to the power button that, when pressed, automatically launch the assigned application.

2.I/O port management: Ability to remotely enable or disable I/O port access4. Cameras and barcode scanners can also be enabled or disabled.

3.Device Monitor: An exportable list of managed devices, including system information for each individual device, hardware and software, and any installed updates.

4.Remote deployment: Any required applications, BIOS changes or Windows updates can be transferred and deployed remotely.

Acer Enduro T5 Secure Tablet

The Acer Enduro T5 ET510-51W is a rugged and reliable 10-inch Windows tablet designed for prolonged use in demanding environments. It features a 10 hour2 hot-swappable battery for non-stop use, and the 7th generation Intel Core m3 processor provides the performance needed in the logistics and manufacturing industries. In addition, the tablet is protected by MIL-STD 810G and IP65 standards and equipped with AEMS. Accessories such as docking stations, handles, shoulder straps including 4-point harnesses, and car chargers and holders are available to extend the functionality and mobility of the Enduro T5.

Acer Enduro T1 Secure Tablets

Acer Enduro T1 ET110-31W is a versatile and durable 10-inch Windows tablet that can also act as a 10.1-inch laptop with optional keyboard cover. The device is protected according to MIL-STD 810G4 and IP54 standards, equipped with Intel Celeron processor and 64 GB eMMC memory, which makes it robust and comfortable for light work on the go. Enduro T1 is comfortable to use with gloves on.

The Acer Enduro T1 ET108-11A is a compact and durable 8-inch Android tablet designed specifically for retail, warehouse and factory workers. Protected to MIL-STD 810G5 and IP54 standards, the device is equipped with a number of programmable keys and optional accessories that allow it to be adapted for use in different environments. Enduro T1 is comfortable to use with gloves on.
