Acer has announced its new TravelMate P6 series of thin, lightweight and rugged Windows 10 Pro-based commercial notebooks designed for professionals who frequently travel or work away from the office. Rugged and powerful device with up to 20 hours of battery life is designed for on-the-go use and can withstand heavy use.

The TravelMate P614-51 with Skype for Business certified application provides quality video conferencing with four microphones that can detect voice up to 2m 6.5 ft away. Whether users need to write down a to-do list, play music or remotely control their home, they just need to send voice commands to the Cortana® personal digital assistant.
The TravelMate P614-51 can withstand shock and vibration, as well as accidental drops and other mishaps. It meets MIL-STD 810G2 and 810F, the US Military Standards for Durability in Electronic Equipment. Tests include 26 drops from 1.22 m 48 inches onto different parts of the notebook’s body and a 5 cm 2 inch plywood landing on concrete. Other tests test the laptop’s resistance to moisture and extreme temperatures.

The TravelMate P614-51 with the Windows 10 Pro operating system has powerful security features to keep your data safe. Customers can log in using the Windows Hello app and fingerprint scanner in the power button or through the IR camera with biometric face recognition.
