Acer introduces Chromebook Tab 10, the first Chrome OS-powered tablet designed specifically for educational institutions to enhance and complement the educational experience with the performance, simplicity and security of Chrome OS in a convenient tablet form factor.

QXGA screen and compact size gives students more features

Vivid colors and high-resolution 9.7″ IPS screen on the tablet deliver a great image quality for learning materials and apps. QXGA resolution 2048 x 1536 pixels, 264 pixels per inch makes any textbook look sharp and easy to read, so students can understand what they’re learning. The compact design and light weight make the Acer Chromebook Tab 10 easy to move around the classroom and keep learning outside in comfort.

The tablet weighs only 550 grams and measures 172.2 W x 238.2 L x 9.98 T mm. The device will not occupy much space in a backpack or desk drawer and even in the small hands of elementary school students the tablet will not seem bulky. Its dark blue coloring makes it easy to find in the room, and its intuitive interface helps you work with the software and study materials by zooming in and out of pictures and scrolling through pages.
