The contest task is quite simple: you have to upload to the site not more than five landscapes shot during the last two summers in any part of America. What can make any landscape better?? Composition? Of course. Great light and cool weather? Of course. But if you already have all this, how can you make your landscape even better?? You need to add mood and history to it, and also something that only you can see.. All this will help you make the viewer begin to empathize with your picture.
