Floor convectors with Isan Oplflex wire heat exchangers
Oplflex floor convectors have the unique construction and characteristics on the market. This range is an exclusive Isan development that was developed considering the disadvantages of the traditional convectors. The distinctive feature of Oplflex is the wire heat exchanger.
Instead of traditional lamellar blades, it uses a braided copper wire that is specially shaped. Because both the tubes and the braid are made of copper, there are no tensions in the heat exchanger, due to the differences in the thermal expansion of the materials. Due to the multiple connections of the wires, the structure becomes stronger and in contrast to thin aluminium fins, it is less susceptible to deformation during installation.
When bending the heat exchanger its aerodynamic properties and efficiency are not changed that allows to install it in boxes of non-standard shape – angular, radius, etc. d. Oplflex trench heaters are more hygienic than flame trench heaters – dust just falls through the wire mesh, accumulates on the bottom and can be easily removed with a vacuum cleaner. The devices are completed with aluminum, steel or wooden louvers.
The convector range includes different types of convectors with natural convection and forced convection. The forced convection models are available in several types. FLT series with tangential blowers are designed for residential and commercial dry heating. For humid environments, Isan offers the FLB series of air convectors with axial fans and water drainage system.
The FLT 21 series is based on the FLT, but with a changed design that makes it suitable for both heating and cooling applications. The FLT 21 allows the heating medium and refrigerant supply to the convector circuit to be changed depending on the season. In the tangential fan convectors of the FLK series, two separate circuits for the heating medium and the cooling medium can be provided. There are two series of natural convection Oplflex trench heaters: the low FLK series with the option of installing axial fans, and the higher and more powerful FLK Canal series.
